Re: From a Distance - Hope
Absolutely agree. There is also something so beautiful about children singing it. From a distance, you look like my friend, even though we are at war... heartbreaking.

Re: Musical gems
Somehow we had the same idea at the exact same time. I would qualify this one as gem: https://forum.libera-dreams.com/viewtopic.php?t=4093

From a Distance - Hope
Hey all, I would like to give a shout-out to "From a Distance" from the "Hope" album. This version is not just about the sound – it's a masterpiece in quality, length and lyrics (very relevant these times). There's something about this one that stands out – the clarity, the p...

This concert? I don't remember it, nor see it on the programme. Sing for your world, I remember; but sing for ever, I don't.Mercurial909 wrote: ↑<span title="Sun Dec 03, 2023 11:16 am">1 year ago</span> By the way, Sing Forever was sung. Nathan and Joseph performed it beautifully.

Re: 2023 - Two UK Concerts in December
A good concert nonetheless! The brothers. Nice picture. Talk about shorter hair styles. Cameron. Oh, that's Cameron?! Didn't recognize him at first. I wonder what his reason was for a buzz cut. His previous hairstyle was far from short. Also, can anyone name me the guitarist? He seemed fami...

Re: 2023 - Two UK Concerts in December
I noticed that Mitchel didn't sing Love Shine a Light. They went with a group version where everyone sang the solo parts.
Maybe Mitchells voice has changed?
I was missing some action in this concert. Songs like Ave verum, Sing For Ever, Far Away or maybe even Vespera.
A good concert nonetheless!

Re: Who is the background voice in Sacris Solemnis?
Thanks to the both of you!! Much appreciated.
Freddie... I could have guessed. He has a magnificent voice!
Joseph and Nathan, I would't have found out in a thousand years. I'll look forward to hearing a solo of them at a concert.

Who is the background voice in Sacris Solemnis?
Hi All! As the title says, who is doing the background long tones in Sacris Solemnis, from the `if` album. My best guess is either Luca or Dom, but it sounds like Luca is already doing the opening part of the song. Its absolutely beautiful and I can't wrap my head around not knowing who is behind it...
