It's nice to see you here! Have seen you on other Libera boards I thinkSyafiqah wrote:Hello, I'm Syafiqah and I'm 16 years old. I come from Singapore and I discovered Libera quite by chance actually. I was channel surfing and I saw this cute little boy talking and I stopped to watch (it's Mini-Ben) by the way and that was when I listened to I Am The Day. Iwas totally blown away by their singing though I did not think much of the whole group until my friend sent me Sanctus and Salva Me and then I started googling them and watching them on Youtube!
I sing in a choir, too, and I really enjoy Libera music. I listen to Libera almost all the time, especially when I am studying.

Have a good time with Libera and us!

Hey,
I am Rene from the Netherlands, born in 1981...
I first heard of libera only a few days ago, but i ordered almost all the cd's yet.
I love the songs they sing.
My favourites:
- Salva me, with Joe Snelling
- Far away
- Onward Christian Soldiers
I hope Libera will come soon again in the Netherlands, or Belgium. But I think they won't come soon... Pitty.
Does anyone have the cd from the number "Footsteps in the sand"? This cd cannot be ordered anymore...
Thanks!
Gr. René

Hi y'all,
I am 22 years old, male, and based in California. I first came across Libera on YouTube when I searched for Enya's Orinocco Flow. The first time I saw the link, my thought was "Hmm, kids performing Orinocco Flow. Let's see how it is." At the same time, I was not expecting too much because when children perform something it always turns out to be not so good, such as KidzBop (I will never forgive them for butchering my favourite song). After hearing the boys sing the opening line, boy I was wrong. I can't believe how great they were, I mean everything is spot on. Then I started listening to some of their other songs, and I was blown away.
So far, my favourite songs are Far Away, You Were There, Salva Me, Libera, O Sanctissima, and Vespera. If I had choose one, it would be Vespera.
I hope y'all have a great day and let us see more of Libera.
Regards

I am glad you are enjoying the boys and this board. And I am glad you gave Libera's cover of Orinocco Flow a chance. Enya would not just let anyone cover one of her songs. I am very glad she let Libera do this one. I personally would like to hear some more of Enya's music covered by the boys. As well as Lorenna McKennitt. Do a search for Dante's Prayer. This would be a great song for RP to record.

Agreed! It would be awesome if RP and Libera would record "Dante's Prayer"! Any way we can suggest to RP?TEB wrote:Welcome lacrymosa2,lacrymosa2 wrote:Hi y'all,

Hello all,
My name is Joel. I am from the Philippines.
I first heard of Libera a few years back when I did a search for Pachelbel's Canon in D which is one of my favorite classical pieces. Naturally, Sanctus came up in the search. What Robert Prizeman did with the arrangement and the Sanctus is sheer genius. (If Robert set the dictionary to music and got the boys to record it, I'd probably fall in love with that too...)
