Which two boys did the best duet?

Post by Yorkie »

I've always has a soft spot for the version of Sing For Ever done by Jaymi Bandtock and Sam Harper - the way they swap the lead I think is fantastic:

I also think that Tom and Ed singing Prayer at the concert was something special too, the way they mix that first verse has a wow factor:

Of course, I can't forget Tom & Josh doing Love and Mercy:

I'll stop there before I go through them all :D

Ben C and Joe P did a touching duet for Do Not Stand at my Grave and Weep then again so did Tom & Ed " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Josh and Tom also for 'Never Be Alone' - shame their was no video to support that underated track from New Dawn.

Too many to mention, but they are the one's that stand out for me at the moment.

I cannot choose just one pair of boys, so here are my favorites (in no particular order):

1. Ben C. and Joe P. on "Do Not Stand"
2. Tom and Josh on "Love and Mercy"
3. Tom and Ed on "Silent Night"
4. Tom and Ed on "Do Not Stand"
5. Tom and Josh on "Never Be Alone"
6. Tom and Ed on "Prayer"

That being said, I would love to hear Mini-James and Freddie on "Prayer"! :D

It also seems like Tom, Josh and Ed have given us some stellar duets over the years!

Wait... I have to choose??

This is hard. Probably Josh and Tom on Love and Mercy and then probably Tom and Ed on Prayer.... But it is so hard to choose!

The ones I particularly like are:

1. Jaymi Bandtock and Sam Harper (Sing Forever/Panis Angelicus)
2. Liam o'Kane and Adam Harris (Pie Jesu)
3. Michael Horncastle and Tom Cully (Going Home) - How I wish I could have heard this live.
4. Michael Horncastle and Callum Payne (Prayer)
5. Michael Horncastle and Joe Sanders-Wilde (Ave Maria/Libera)

Definitely Josh's and Tom's duet in Love and Mercy. The harmonisation in the middle part was just precious and it's really... (here's where my vocabulary power fails me haha) so wow. Their voices were perfect for the song :)

Well i am going to be different and say Freddie and i think James on Prayer as didnt like Tom and Ed singing it and then i heard them two sing it and it actually made me like the song, so it goes to them.
