I really like the broader sound that having a larger range in the group gives; it adds a new dimension to the sound, so to speak, that was not there before. The acoustic accompaniment is great, too, especially the interlude of piano and violin. It's great to hear some more acoustic/natural accompaniment from time to time.
I wasn't quite so fond of what sounded--at least to my ears--like a whole lot of effects processing on Josh's voice. It seemed as though there was a fair bit of chorus or a very short delay or something similar. (Or perhaps he was singing a duet or trio with himself, thanks to the miracles of multitrack recording.) Admittedly, it is hard to know how much of that is intentional and how much is caused or exacerbated by artifacts of the Youtube audio compression codecs.
If this is indicative of what the album will be like as a whole, it'll be well worth getting.

It sounded to me like Josh was at least singing a duet with himself, with his own "whisper" track, too.
The only boys missing that should technically be there are Flynn and, I think, Matthew Alvarez. There were a couple times I thought I saw Matthew though, so I'm not sure.

Sorry, I can't help you on that one. All these 10 y.o. white kids look the same to me!

Matthew has fairly dark skin. I get him confused with Carlos sometimes, but I'm pretty sure its Carlos in the video!

I've got it on my computers surround sound system and there is definitely (well best make that I think) that there is a couple of layers of Josh singing with himself. I take it to be layering of different voice tracks of his rather than computer jiggery pokery - I think RP wouldn't risk the groups reputation with too much artificial 'tweaking'. They've worked too hard on training to throw it away on one song.
I really, really like this song. It gets better every time I play it

WOW WOW WOW! Solos from Josh AND Mini-Ben! I was not expecting to hear Josh! He sounded so good; his voice has the perfect timbre for the song, mysterious and soothing at the same time. And...how can I even begin speaking about Mini-Ben? His solo blew me away. His voice has matured by leaps and bounds since his first solo in 2007--then, I thought he had a nice voice, cute, but not my favorite soloist; now, he is becoming one of my favorites. I love how much his voice has evolved. It keeps getting better and better. Mini-Ben's clear, innocent voice complemented Josh's slightly darker, more mystical tone very well.
I have a feeling that for this upcoming album, Mini-Ben's voice will be showcased a lot. And maybe Ed's as well? It was good to see Ed with the group. That being said I do hope to hear Kavana or Flynn or Alex or Jakob as well as Stefan. And maybe (dare I hope?) one more solo from Josh and maybe even one from Liam?
I will probably be listening to this song obsessively on Youtube for the next bit. And I wish it were available for download now. Gosh, March 8 seems so far away...
