It isn't the music. It's no Luminosa or Free but it is pleasant enough. My local HMV right next to where I work isn't stocking it and I can't be bothered to drive to the mall to buy it. If I hadn't heard the damn thing already I'm certain I would have bought it on Monday.

Yeah leaking the album killed the excitment factour but at moment personally it would be this and then Luminosa .

Definitely. He'll be older then and he already has experience. Plus, I have a feeling that this little boy isn't afraid of crowds at all.

Just look at how he belted out the solo in Salve Me at the Crystal Cathedral concert.

After hearing the album like a "few" time over and over again.
There's only one thing I found Libera are lacking in this album.
One controlling high note in the background to support everyone's note and pitch. A few song the note are high but it's kinda going all over the place. like "how shall we sing"

but Libera is in a transition period, they will master it on the next album. Like what Tom did in New Dawn.

They only got one thing right...that last part. Because that's the point of being Libera.

It was a rather unfair 'review' though because it really only uses one paragraph to discuss about the music. And at that, not even much at all.

One would think that when discussing a new album, the choice of attire and the photography will be just a footnote to the music.

I suppose this is just another reason why it's difficult to trust reviews.

I'm not certain how credible BBC music is as a site (I respect BBC news, but don't know a lot about the rest of the network, I'm on the wrong side of the ocean), but I followed the link of that reviewer/critic to read the rest of his reviews.

Frankly, he strikes me very much as a social-media-era critic. His primary goal seems to be to construct pretty sentences, and throw out barely relevant criticism, probably hoping for views.

I'd wait until I saw real reviews, before worrying what one slightly egotistical critic wrote.

Agreed . Unfortunately I couldn't follow the old maximum 'if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all'.

Harsh review but to be fair he did not say anything that most other people in this country would not. The pure classical fans tear there hair out at what they think Prizman does. and thats watering done classics to the masses and making them tacky.

And the hoodies for me while they are not distubing they are something that come across as cheap and tacky, lets be honest they are a side that is meant to show they are cool, and relevant and it simply does not work at all . There target market is not the youth of today who go around sporting hoodies and cargo pants (fyi cargo pants went out 5 years ago) .

I don't know about that. Because frankly speaking, I don't really care what they wear as long as it's not downright ratty. Maybe it's different in the UK, and I can't speak for the other fanbases, but in the Philippines, I don't think people care that they wear hoodies or not.

Over here people who wear hoodies are yobs and chavs basically. Thats why in places like Bluewater you can not wear hoods up and stuff.
