Delux Peace poster
Yorkie got me thinking about the fact we should be careful what we say as the boys are just children. Its a fair point and noted.
But then surely what Team Libera have done with the new Peace poster is just very mean spirited and petty!
They have purposely photo shopped out 3 boys in the new poster. Ed Day , Alfie and Flynn . There could be some justification for Ed as he left about 7 months ago but the other two boys have been around for the first part of the year.
Alfie is about 9 and Flynn is 11. So why would you edit children out of an album they worked on?
Take into account there ages and it becomes quite nasty.
So what would be the justification??

I still don't have the deluxe cd yet but I think if they edited those 3 maybe they just meant to point out that they are already out of Libera already. Come to think of it, if we still see their pictures specially those of Flynn and Alfie, some fans might still hope that they are still with the group. But they could have just go on another photo shoot or something...
dani, you know my feelings on this matter after the Ed Day Photo Shopping fiasco. They sang on the tracks so they should be on the poster. The only acceptable reason for them not to be was if their family requested that their photo was not included. Period.
If anybody at Libera decided to remove them or if they had the opportunity to prevent it but didn't........well, I won't write what that would make me feel.

If I’ve got owt to say I says it, and if I’ve got owt to ask I asks it.

Yes.
And i actually hate it. It shows a complete lack of respect for the boys who spent hours helping make the cd.
And without a shadow of doubt they do it with Libera's permission as only they know the boys in the group so they would have finally say.

Hi Dani, I definitely agree with you. I watched the "on the set" video again yesterday and saw the three boys in the photo shoot. What will they think when they see this poster? But at least we can till see their names in the members list on the CD, not all bad.dani wrote:Yorkie got me thinking about the fact we should be careful what we say as the boys are just children. Well, I tend to believe the idea of remving them was from EMI, just because they are not with the group. But why didn't they just add the new boys without removing Ed, Flynn and Alfie? I believe Libera itself is like a big family and won't do such rude things.

They've had albums in the past that included material sung by former members. An example is the CD "Free" which had some solos sung by Ben Crawley. The gave Ben credit for the solo, but didn't include him in the photo shoots or the video ads. Maybe because they often do include an occasional older song they've adopted a policy of not including former members in the photoshoots, posters and ads.

Well, I think Ben was in the photo shoot for free... one example is the 2005 Korean tour poster which was shot with Free in 2004, and he was with Libera then and appeared in the Introducing Libera 2004 video.TullyBascombe wrote:They've had albums in the past that included material sung by former members. Since I do not have the poster yet, I know that Tom is not a member anymore, but he was also in the photoshoot. Did they photoshop him out too?
Since you all mentioned this, I looked at my poster more closely. There are 18 boys pictured and 22 signatures.
There is no picture or signature of Tom Cully, Ed Day, Alfie or Flynn.
The extra signatures with no picture come from Matthew Jansen and Cassius.
The bad news is that there IS a signature but NO PICTURE of Jonathan Barrington and Tiarnan Branson! Why are THEY not pictured? Does this mean they are no longer in Libera either? Is this a way to let us know?

Also, despite not being at the UK concerts, James Threadgill IS pictured and DOES have his signature on it.

I noticed that JB and Tiarnan were missing from the picture too.. It would be a shame if they left!Lexi wrote:jesuspeace34 wrote:I feel kind of sad that they were photoshopped out like that. I remember seeing this photo shoot being done. Took me a while to find it, but it's on the "Peace Photoshoot (Behind the Scenes)" video.
" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.
At the beginning it shows them arranged just like on the Peace Deluxe poster plus a few other arrangements. But it looks like the same 18 boys.
At the end of the video it shows a photo of the same arrangement but with 24-25 boys (can't tell exactly). It's on a screen.
Some were saying that certain boys were photo-shopped out who actually participated on the album. Peace Deluxe gives us the pic with fewer boys as opposed to more. And everyone is just wondering why.
