Well, no not really :(

Looks like there are railway works going on over the Saturday and Sunday of the Ely concert so there are no direct trains too and from London. They will be operating a rail replacement service (i.e. a bus) for part of the journey which means it will take about an hour longer to get there/back.

At the moment you can catch a train to Royston, then get a bus to Cambridge and then get a train from Cambridge to Ely (and reverse it for the way back). It looks like the latest time back on Saturday is a train at 22:53 - miss that and you are sleeping on the station!
Thank you for the warning ! :(

I have updated many members timelines on Libera Passion and I hope to finish it during the following days. You can check on the many faces before their summer concerts :D

What songs do you hope to hear ? They clearly hinted there will be new songs... But from the old ones ?

I don't know which new songs will be featured in the concert, but one of the new songs they recently recorded was composed by the parents of choristers.

Welcome to Libera Dreams! :D Please tell us more about this if you wish, this sounds like new information to me.

Indeed, I found this out through an Instagram post. I won't specify who posted it, but we'll all find out either at the concerts, or when the album is released

I think we can expect 2/3 new songs as it’s been over 6 Months since the last live gig. With a new album due at some point that seems like a realistic goal.

I’ve got one extra premium ticket available for the Ely concert. Seat is in the first few rows, central-ish. PM if interested.

I really hope everyone going to the Ely concert enjoys it and that the public transport issues don't cause too many problems.

Normally I'd be racing to read everyone's reviews afterwards but this time I'm slightly torn as I might want to be surprised at Chester and I'm guessing the programmes will be very similar if not identical. But with another 6 weeks till Chester I doubt I'll hold out that long!

Ah, I get it  I myself don't know if I am super happy to get a bit more Libera music by attending the (usually public) rehearsal in Ely or if I'd rather have the surprise of the concert. I guess it will depend on my stamina in the end.

I am in London right now, to see Hamilton. Will go to Ely tomorrow. I hope it will be smoother than my departure this morning, I nearly missed the Eurostar due to issues in the public transport in Paris :o My lungs health has been bad lately and I ended up with an asthma crisis, called a taxi and fortunately got the train... I am coughing a bit, please don't fret I am not contagious and I hope to cough as little as possible during the concert if I do not tire myself too much :D

It’s funny you say this as I’m torn this time if I should avoid over bearing the rehearsal so as to go in Blind tomorrow night as no doubt there will be some surprise.

Normally I don’t mind being spoiled so I’m definitely torn.

I am glad you managed to get your train and fingers crossed our journeys are smooth tomorrow

Enjoy Hamilton it’s a great show.

I, for one, might actually turn up early for a change. Partly because of concern over the public transport. I think the only time I can recall turning up early enough for an open rehearsal was Romsey, so perhaps it's time to try again. I'll see which way the wind blows tomorrow! (and just in case it's a hot-air balloon, rail replacement service :P )

Oh no! I'm sorry you had such a rough time. Bad asthma is horrible especially along with stress. Really glad you made it and hope you recover soon and enjoy Hamilton and the concert.
