Yes, they will have a merchandise table where you can buy stuff before the concert and in the interval.

I'm thinking now that we should we add an "s" to "Dream" and make it the new logo for this forum.

Oh, wow! I'd never thought that it's no loss in translation. It still sounds wrong to my ears of a foreigner. But on the other hand, in dreams we experience the strangest things that can never happen in real life and consider it completely normal, we never wonder about it. And so "dream you of" reflects that: It's normal and fine ... in a "Dream".Luckdragon wrote: ↑2 months ago Josh said in today's monthly Q&A: [...] one of his songs was called "Dream You Of" (that is the correct title).

Stir and shiver
The reeds and rushes
By the river:
Ever, ever,
As if in dream,
The lone moon's silver
Sleeks the stream.
What old sorrow,
What lost love,
Moon, reeds, rushes,
Dream you of?

Wow, thanks for finding the poetic reference to “dream you of”. That poem is beautiful, a plaintive elegy to fleeting memories of love and loss often found in our dreams.
Now I’m really looking forward to hearing that new song!!!

It doesn't sound right to my ears as a native English speaker either but I think it's the kind of structure you can get away with in poetry as in the Walter de la Mare John found. I wonder if Josh's song is a setting of those words or whether he's written his own lyrics or a mixture of both?filiarheni wrote: ↑2 months agoLuckdragon wrote: ↑2 months ago Josh said in today's monthly Q&A: [...] one of his songs was called "Dream You Of" (that is the correct title).

In the picture of the boys in front of the green screen it looks like Daniel in front - would people agree? Does that mean we get another solo from him on Dreams in his deeper voice? I hope so. It looks as though it was shot a while ago as several boys look younger than they did in the summer concert pictures.
Thinking about soloists in general, this makes me hopeful that perhaps they may have recorded solos from some or all of Luca, Freddie M, Nathan and Mitchel last summer before their voices changed. I agree with whoever said that Freddie M was the obvious candidate for Dido's Lament, though I think Luca could also sing it, he has the technique and is incredibly versatile. Morgan will presumably do Twilight as he did at the concerts, probably with Pietro on the harmony, and I also think Morgan's voice would sound great on the first Going Home solo, the one Josh sang in Leiden. He has that similar soft soothing quality. I would imagine Morgan would have a few solos having been such a mainstay of their concert repertoire for the last few years.
Joseph has been another mainstay and is likely to feature a lot; he had a good few solos on Forever and is unlikely to have fewer here. It's likely that he'll sing Sea Bird, The Lark's Last Song and the second solo of One Small Voice as he did at the concerts but I guess it's possible that these were recorded with some of the older boys as soloists before their voices changed too much so it's hard to say for sure.
Then as for the other solos, who knows. Might Ben get his first recorded solo? It would also be great if the likes of Cameron, Thomas M, Lewis Q and Freddie H got something as this may well be their last album as trebles. But who knows? With so many new songs that we don't know whether they have solos or not, it's even harder to predict.
Re: Dream (new album 2024)
I have no knowledge of the lyrics of Josh's song. As well as poetry the structure can also be found in Elizabethan prose.Cat-a-tonic wrote: ↑2 months ago It doesn't sound right to my ears as a native English speaker either but I think it's the kind of structure you can get away with in poetry as in the Walter de la Mare John found. So one month to go for the new album release and their tour. I wonder how many new songs will make the tour list.

Libera Records has updated its page about the Dream Album.
A little new info :
'The CD jacket and booklet were designed by Michael Horncastle, who sang the solo for "Fan Away"'

It’s quite sweet how so many of the older generation want to help keep the libera memory alive by helping out.
