Big news which is obviously overshadowed by the UK concert thread, but I bet a few LDF members will be there.
Re: Japan Tour (October 29 - November 1, 2024)
I hope it's okay to ask this here: Does anyone have a successful experience with creating an account at the ticket site? Libera links to this url for tickets (I’m not a fan-club member): https://t.pia.jp/pia/event/event.do?eve ... d=b2449244. What I understand from the site is that you need to make an account before you can buy tickets. However, creating an account involves calling a Japanese phone number. I’ve tried many combinations of prefixes for the number, but either the number is “busy†or doesn’t exist. It also took me a while before I found a format for my own (Dutch) phone number that was accepted by the registration form, so there might be some problem at that side too. Does anyone have any hints for solving this?

If you're on Twitter, DM @hello_mroops. He's a Japanese fan who I think would be happy to help you get your tickets. He's an English teacher and speaks English very well.Lavendel wrote: ↑8 months ago I hope it's okay to ask this here: Does anyone have a successful experience with creating an account at the ticket site? I noticed on their promo page (https://libera-records.com/concert/) that MBS TV (Japan) will be involved with the Osaka concert. Interesting.

Re: Japan Tour (October 29 - November 1, 2024)
Thank you very much for the idea Luckdragon.
I looked around some more online and it seems like it is quite normal that tickets for concerts in Japan are limited to Japan(ese). They earn it, I guess, being such big supporters of Libera .
I heard a friend of a friend of a friend is going to Japan this spring and they might be able to get tickets for me. Otherwise creating a Twitter account seems to be in order.

Re: Japan Tour (October 29 - November 1, 2024)
It seems the tickets have already sold out . I did not realize tickets would sell out this fast .
Edit: Or maybe it is because the pre-sale period has ended. I'm quite intimidated by the whole ticket system and confused .

Let’s hope we all get to see the Osaka concert in this way...Luckdragon wrote: ↑8 months ago I noticed on their promo page (https://libera-records.com/concert/) that MBS TV (Japan) will be involved with the Osaka concert. Interesting.
Re: Japan Tour (October 29 - November 1, 2024)
I was able to get tickets !
It turns out there are several pre-sale rounds. This time I had researched the ticket process and I had a friend in Japan who helped with calling and paying.
Now I’m looking forward even more to reading reviews about the UK concerts, because I think they might contain some predictions for the Japan program.

Re: Japan Tour (October 29 - November 1, 2024)
Compared to last concerts in UK, the 5 'Bigs' are not in the touring group in Japan, it was predictable.
Daniel W
Frederick M
Koji S
Laurence D
Victor W
More surprising is the absence of Oskar H
Victor will be in Japan, but as stage manager, like Ben B was since 2 years.
-----
Edit: So Luca will be absent as well. Too bad. He already missed the two UK Summer concerts.
Perhaps he can he present at the Siofonia SS concert in December in London... we will see.

Re: Japan Tour (October 29 - November 1, 2024)
Libera Records has announced that all three concerts are now sold out.
This was also the case last year when tours resumed after the lockdown.
In total, this amounts to two audiences of 2,084 at the Line Cube in Tokyo, and 2,754 at the International Convention Center in Osaka, bringing the overall number of attendees to 6,922.
Nearly 7,000 persons in 3 concerts in Japan, to compare with the capacity seating of 324 at the Sinfonai Smith Square ground floor in London.
Japan is another dimension
With all tickets sold, all the CDs and merchandises to be sold, it’s safe to assume that the tour is likely financially successful.
Given such a strong and dedicated fanbase, Libera’s annual visits to Japan should continue for the foreseeable future.
If the October schedule remains the same in 2025, potential dates next year could be from Saturday 25th October to Sunday 2nd November.
Let's make sure to keep that period free in our schedules!

I know it's a whirlwind trip, but I can't help wondering if they'll make a video of the Muramatsu song (Always There) while they're in Japan.

Re: Japan Tour (October 29 - November 1, 2024)
Last year, they spent a whole day travelling outside Tokyo to film a beautiful video in nice scenery.
With the new album just released, you are right, it is quite possible that another video shoot is planned for this year as well.
It’s hard to say which song might be chosen, but the season might not be quite right for 'Happy Christmas', making it less likely.
However, many other options remain open.

Re: Japan Tour (October 29 - November 1, 2024)
Whoa, the bigs are already not touring internationally. Sigh, it's like empty nest syndrome every year. I guess it's time to study hard for that big test and get ready for sixth form. The kids have all been very talented and clever so hopefully some will continue in the music and arts field. But that is an extremely difficult field to break into and thrive. But they can still use their vocal talents in being a teacher, barrister, or doctor. To cut through the din, just belt out "CUT THE CRAP" in a super loud operatic voice and that should get everyone's attention!
Sooooo, who are the bigs now for this tour???? Can they in a pinch, throw white robes at Victor and Tadgh, and say, "You're a quick read, get in the back row and do some ooohs and aaahs!"
I'm super excited to read the reviews about this tour soon. So envious of those who can go!!!

I'm sure that if the need arises, Victor/Tadhg can just jump in on a moment's notice. That said, I believe the 'bigs' for this tour will probably be Mitchel and Ethan, perhaps even Nathan.bruinrules wrote: ↑1 month ago Whoa, the bigs are already not touring internationally.
