That's right. There are some very good new voices.
Some of the 'classics' have been sung by proven voices like Liam's and especially Josh's.
There was an omen that illustrates that Josh's voice seems to change quite soon too: There are two passages in You Where There when the solist sings "And when the end of day is come" starting with a high note. Josh took that first tone (on "And") a fourth deeper than in the original composition. I didn't have the impression that he couldn't take that high note. I assume that this was to be on the save side.

definitively. I've heard him talking when he was getting on the bus.
Of course his countenance seemed to be not too happy during songs like Far Away and You Where There .

Thank you, Urs, I also read somewhere that Tom looked a little grumpy. I guess that it is normal, it is not easy to try to adjust to something you have no control of. I am proud of him though.
Ann
Well,yeah...It's hard for Tom to adjust it,but he'll be probable get through it,I trust him. He's such a good boy,and he never let me down.We proud of him!

Urs, did Liam sing the version of Ave Maria from New Dawn or the other version that is on Visions??

Yes I'm really excited to hear from some of the new boys eventually (as in when Libera releases a new album, as I most unfortunately cannot make it from the US all the way to Europe for one of their concerts at the moment). I heard from other reviews of their recent concerts that Josh took the "And when the end of day..." part on "You Were There" somewhat lower than Tom's version from Eternal and that it was amazing and added a new dimension to the song; also, very wise to lower the note to be on the safe side if his voice is on the verge of deepening!

Here we go:
Cheers Urs
Urs,
Thank you so much for the video, it's great to see the boys. Most of them has grown a lot, MiniBen is not so mini anymore.

Nice video Urs. All the boys looked very happy, and even though they were probably given strict orders to board the coach very quickly, they still acknowledged and waved to the small pocket of determined fans stood out in the rain.
I hope in the future they are allowed to go back to signing CD's in a controlled, monitored enviroment. Although I am aware, when there will be times they are not able to do this.
I am guessing these could of been Josh's final concerts as a treble. It seems with Mini Ben taking over on Secret and his solo parts being cut down, Robert is getting ready for that change. Then it will be Liam's turn a sadly. By years end i think it will be a very different front line up.
It will be interesting to see who will be staying with the group after their voices change. RP might be getting a lot of help....

That's true! I wonder how many boys he can keep on whose voices have changed. JB and Tom are singing the low parts now, but if Josh and Liam are soon to follow, and eventually Ed and Mini-Ben, will RP have 6 boys singing tenor/bass? That would be great though. It would probably expand Libera's repertoire and allow them to sing songs they haven't done for a while, such as maybe "Vespera" or "Angelis" and so on.
