Trinity posted a brief clip on their FB and IG.
Thanks for the information.
Had I known in time, I might have hesitated—but I’m not sure an extra night’s accommodation would really have been worth it.
I tend to be a bit wary of these choir additions that, apart from the extra volume, don’t always bring much additional artistic value, in my opinion. Still, it would have been nice to return to St Michael’s.
The last time I was there was during Open House 2024, since it was one of the filming locations for a music video back in the 1990s. Unfortunately, I arrived late and only had a few minutes before it closed.
Funny detail: while chatting with the church staff, it turned out that one of the altar server who appears in the video from 30 years ago is still serving there today, same church, same role. He was quite enthusiastic to recognise himself on the footage. He remembered the filming well, including exactly where Steven and the other soloist were standing.

That's pretty uncanny to remember something from so many years ago....Wow! Anyway, glad you were able to have a chat with him and see this beautiful church

For those interested, the Choir of St Paul's Harvard Square (Massachusetts, US) performed a concert in St Patrick's in New York on Monday which was livestreamed.

I'm curious if they have previously done any concerts with this group "The Vauxhall Band" or any other period instrument groups.
They even bothered to post a short video of them rehearsing with the choir. It was muted on Facebook due to a copyright claim.

Is it just me feeling like this topic is a mess these days ? I am really happy with everyone sharing, really, thank you. But I would definitely agree with more topics being created for certain choirs or talented kids.

I generally check for existing topics before posting here, but am hesitant to start a new topic if the artist or group has already been posted in this megathread. Perhaps someday, a bored mod with move permissions will help to clean this up a bit.

I can agree with that, with 70 pages to sort, that would certainly be for a moderator to do.
Why this topic, is nested under the parent topic of Other Choirs, Singers and Musicians, I'm not sure, but that has been the case for 16 years.
