I would wish the same as well, Deshaun. This type of issue really bothers me, and if I put myself in Ed's shoes, I would have gone ballistic, tears included.

There has been a couple of incidents where he was rude to some fans, such as turning away from them at m&g's so as to not have to talk to them and so on. It was mostly right after Joe Snelling left and it was probably a reaction to that.


As many here know, I was once a music performer. When I was a junior in high school(11th grade), amoung the many musical groups I was in, I was in Jazz Band, where I played french horn. We did an evening performance at one of the middle schools and were called back for an encore. As the band retook the stage, I was waved back to the wings by the director. He had them play a song I had no part in for the encore. I was deeply hurt by this. I almost did leave the group and I ignored the director/teacher for weeks afterwards, which was hard as he was also my main music teacher. I went to his class and left without any personal contact with him. This was back in the spring of 1976 and to this day I can still remember the hurt when he waved me back to the stage wing.
I hope this explains some of why I am so angry over this and can understand the hurt Ed may be experiencing here with this.
Now, one of my band mates did spill the beans to the director. He did apologise and give me 100% in the class but the hurt was still there.

Well, from what I see, I think we should patiently wait until one of us receives the CD on Monday to verify the information.

Why would they do that? If we are quite (it may sound harsh) outraged with this, isn't it the charitable thing to do to assume that the other fans will be just as outraged?

I am stunned by these edits on pictures ... If this move for a boy, I will. But then a touch up legs, hands ... and above all make mistakes, it's shameful ...Unfortunately this is the new generation Photoshop ... our boys are also affected by this phenomenon.

The contentious picture appears to be the back cover of the CD insert booklet so it is pretty important. It might even be the actual back of the CD case, but not sure on that as we only have the pdf download to look at.

Hi everyone, well amazon have massively exceeded my expectations and...

I have my album!!!

Unfortunately I can confirm that Ed has been taken out of that photo, to put Jakob in. There is an amazing full page spread photo of all the boys and Tom looks much older but hes there!

As I refrained from listening to all the songs I am now listening to the new ones and Im loving it so far! I think Stefan is my fav soloist (but I thought that after hearing his "salva me" in Arundel!)

Hope all your albums arrive soon!

Not sure why it would have been independently photoshoped by a German fan. I think this is the authentic final CD cover. Had it been down to me I would have left it as it was. Although I think you are batting down the wrong path for the reasons why it might have been photoshoped with Jakob replacing Ed. I think it was a decision made on the solo contributions of Jakob (he has two), instead of any contentious selection process. Yes, I know what your thinking now, why didn't they replace Liam or Alex with Jakob, as they are not credited with solo's. Maybe they would have been harder and more obvious looking, as they were sitting at the front. At the end of the day EMI would have been damned whoever they chose to replace Jakob with. So they probably should have just left well alone. I still have faith in the decision to include Jakob was the fact he was credited with solo's on the CD.

Congrats for holding off listening to the songs on Amazon, the CD always sounds better. Now where's mine!!!

Thanks also for posting these pictures. That is cool that Tom is there. I'm glad that some of you have started to get your albums. Hopefully April will come quickly.

Mine says it was dispatched today (from Amazon UK) but estimated delivery date is the 17th...

Just to clear a couple things up on my end . I had said German fan because the pdf file was credited to a fan from Germany >.>......


But now that I know that it was deliberate I'm quite appalled at changing the photo like that. Did they not know who the soloist were going to be when they took the pictures? I'm just thinking of the individual boy. Until I see a direct, non-scripted, un-edited, un influenced quote from the individual himself saying he truly does not care and for fans not to worry about it, then I cannot let that go.

That said, I still cannot wait for the CD to arrive at my doorstep as soon as Kevin gets his shipment in and i finish paying for it. No matter how irritated I may be, this won't stop me from buying the CD haha

I knew too! I just didn't say anything cause everybody was sure it was Ed or someone else and Nicole said it couldn't have been him...that they wouldn't have recorded it earlier and then put it on another CD like they did with Steven Geraghty on Free.
