By the way, just now I saw that train tickets from Gatwick to Guildford are quite pricey, almost 21 pounds for a single ticket, as opposed to 14 pounds from Heathrow, but I have to admit, the train from Gatwick is without changes, 20 min faster and the flights to Gatwick are much cheaper

On Twitter, Libera Official announces they will give an interview today at 14:00 on Radio Surrey - Radio Sussex.

If I'm not mistaking, the link to hear the radio live on Internet should be this :

No doubt they will mention the concert in Guildford, it's just in 4 days :)

Listened to it. Quite funny.

One thing though, the presenter didn't even mention where to buy tickets for saturday, or any web url or something, only the place and time. Let's hope that the listeners find out by themselves or just buy at the door.

A very interview. Michael and Ben came across as well articulated, intelligent boys (which I'm sure they like to hear). The presenter also seemed very much aware of Libera (which is always a good thing and makes a difference from those who read from a 'crib sheet') No they didn't say where to get tickets from but this was a Surrey radio station and hopefully the people listening will have a good idea where to go to get them.
Again we get boys saying being in the group is 'good fun with their friends' and that 'all the work is worth it'.
Bet it's also 'good fun' trying to keep 60 'normal boys' in check at times for the chaperones.
I know they won't read this but good luck lads for the concert.

Just got in from work, I'll catch up with it later on iplayer. Hope it influences the minds of local people in the area to go and buy tickets. There's a lot worse you could do with your Saturday evening. Aled Jones sung at the Cathedral the other week. Doubt I'll be able to make this one though, so here's hoping they come up to the North West again sometime soon.

Very nice interview - the boys were excellent and Rob was very relaxed and gave a lot of great information. I'm certain it will sell tickets. So we know one of the songs for Saturday, but I think we could have guessed it to be honest :D

If anyone is looking to listen to the interview it can be found on youtube at

This is a definite must listen. Mr. P was as good as I've heard him on the radio.
Ben's direct approach contrasted well with Michael's cheeriness. Both boys
represented Libera well.

Yes a really nice interview, though the background music almost drowned out the boys at times.

Was it just me or was there an (unsuccessful) attempt to edit out the name of the school during the interview?

Really looking forward to saturdays concert :D

I love that they use Benedictus Deus at the beginning, considering it's not from their albums. And yes, a lot of information. I'm so grateful that they spoke clearly so I could understand them :D .

Ill be in Guildford from around midday, so if anyone wants to meet up for a little lunch and sightseeing, let me know :)

Only a couple of days now for the concert.

Word of warning. Bring an umbrella as we may have rain during the Saturday queue.

Well let's really hope that the forecast is wrong at this point. Or that there will be an opportunity to queue indoors like at St George's?

Did anyone else notice this on the Guildford Cathedral event page?
Pre-concert suppers are available at the Refectory, for information and booking please call 01483 560471

Hopefully I will appear in Guildford at around midday as well. Equipped with an umbrella. However, I'm sure if I will take the umbrella then it just won't rain!

Hmm, could I call them right now?
Edit. Just read on FB that ''the refectory will not be opening for pre concert suppers but WILL be open during the interval for snacks and drinks.''
Anyway, the main point is not to miss the concert!
