And yet we know all the boys by their complete name and surname. Most of the choirs just give the surname and only for soloists, sometimes.Lux Aeterna wrote: ↑2 years ago The Libera staff is so ( rightfully ) overprotecting of the boys now that seems unbelievable that things were so different not so many years ago.

Libera If Japan Promotion issue!!
I wouldn't have dared to dream about it: A few weeks ago I bought the new CD "if" from Libera as the Japan edition, CD and DVD. To my surprise, I received this special edition from a Japanese private seller. Inside the inner ring of each CD and DVD are the words "Sample" and "Loaned" printed. So this issue was given away to journalists and the media in Japan. By coincidence I have it now. Now I have the coveted promotional CDs for almost all Libera CDs, most of them from Japan.

Do you collect also the old cassettes ?
Your collection is quite large, not easy to keep track of it.
What about creating and sharing a detailed summary listing each of your items?
As suggestion, here two unusual editions that you may already have, or that you can add to your hunt list:
- A promo 5 tracks CD of 'Peace'
- A Korean version of 'Luminosa', renamed 'Ave Maria' there.

Libera music on a cassete is very strange. Libera is from the era after the cassette. They are from the 'cd-time'.
Is it an official release? Or did a fan make a copy?

Re: Libera Promo-CD new in my collection
Those cassettes are perfectly genuine.
I think at least 8 albums from the St Philip, the Angel Voices and a few from the Libera era were released on a cassette format, in addition to the LP and CD formats.
You can find some of the references and some photos on the French fans forum database (thanks The Furby)

Here the cassettes that I have myself, released from 1993 to 2001 in South Korea.
'Libera' is published by label Erato and 'Ave Maria' (Luminosa) by Warner Classics.

Re: Libera Promo-CD new in my collection
Nice MCs from Libera! I don't own any cassettes. My main hunting are Japanese promotional CDs in all variations! Today I received a club card issued by the Japanese fan club. The most members of the club don't sell their cards, but I was lucky. A nice collectors item to all my CDs...fan_de_LoK wrote: ↑2 years ago Those cassettes are perfectly genuine.

Libera blanket Tour 2019 Japan
I know this isn't a CD, but straight from Japan I received this printed blanket via airmail yesterday. At the 2019 concert in Tokyo, I saw them at a stall. It was quite expensive, so I didn't take it with me at the time. The ceiling is not very big, but it is a nice souvenir from the concert. Not very many are said to have been made.

Unknown Japanese issue from "Libera"
I found this unknown CD edition in a Chinese shop. It appears to be a re-release. However, the CD was completely made in Japan. Often there are CDs in Japan that look like they are from Japan, but they are only repackaged European editions. Who else owns this CD? Greetings from Changchun in China!

Re: Libera Promo-CD new in my collection
Mostly at eBay and in China "taobao", but you can only order when you are resident in China. I am! Also Yahoo auctions in Japan, fleamarkets and private offerings like eBay Kleinanzeigen in Germany. But only if you searching hours and hours consequently for years!! Hard work if you will find something!!!

Signed CDs and Folder from Japan
After a few month I present you a few CDs and folders of my collection, which are signed in Japan. Especially the Hope Double CD is very special, because five members of libera were on a promotion in Japan, to sign their new CD. You can find a video on YouTube about this event. Enjoy!
