Libera Dreams

I just saw the coolest artwork in the newspaper today and wanted to share it with all of you. It's called Nimbus II and it's an indoor cloud created by Dutch artist Berndnaut Smilde. An original picture of it is purchased by the Saatchi Gallery in London. Yay for Dutch art in London

I think this artwork needs just one more thing: a Libera soundtrack I think it has the perfect 'feel' for it, don't you?

After the Libera concert in Arundel my boyfriend and I will spend two days in London. I'm currently planning our trip.
On Sunday 6 May we plan to catch the 11.30am Mass at St. Paul's Cathedral and the 3pm Evensong at Westminster Abbey. Any suggestions for what we could do on the evening?
On Monday we want to do a tour of Westminster Abbey and catch some more sights before we leave for the airport at 4pm.

Are you looking for free stuff to do or would you consider pay events?

For first time visitors to London, an Albert Hall concert is a memorable event in itself, never mind what's playing.

Right now, I am absolutely looking forward to Arundel next weekend. I was a little gutted not to be able to get premium seats, but I consider not so bad at all as I won't be queuing and fighting for a front row. Also, I hear the acoustics are better, a little further away from the stage

Interesting picture, and I like the concept of a complementary Libera track.
Recently saw a version of Munch's "The Scream" on display at Sotheby's, London, prior to it's auction in New York next week. Estimated price - $80 million - I won't be bidding!
How about "Be Still my Soul" as an accompanying track.

No, sadly not John. I'm heading back home at lunchtime on Sunday. I was also going to suggest a hip hop version of Othello at The Globe theatre but all the tickets are sold out for the evening show

They have a version of The Scream at the Tate iirc - saw the one you are on about on the news.

I saw The Scream once in Oslo. It was impressive but not as much as I thought it would be. Still, I'm glad to have seen it because it got stolen a few times after I think
Quite hard to consider combining it with a Libera song though. Somehow I can't match the comfort of Be Still My Soul with the agony portrayed in the image. We Are The Lost comes more to mind.

I visited Rome four times and I never had a chance to listen to this choir. I think it's really something special (and as I'm well trained for queuing ...)

Thanks for the heads-up. Not sure we'll give it a go though, we'll probably be pretty much satisfied musically/liturgically, and to be honest the only thing I ever heard of this choir was that they were surprisingly not that good... Then again, it's a rare occasion that makes me curious not to miss it.

Yes, this is what I also did hear many times about Libera
But also here I want to form my own opinion (as it was well working with Libera)
