Thanks FDL - your d/l included all the parts, their on-demand edited a few bits out. Very relaxed, entertaining interview, genuinely funny at times. So we got a little something pre-christmas and i've just noticed Itunes now shows Libera back at No2 so both UK charts (physical sales & downloads) now showing same placing for COTB. 4 days to go!

Did you see where one boy is sneaking the other kid's food right before the food's rightful owner says "look at my plate!" ? :lol:

I think Jude looks a bit nervous in front of the camera, but still love his appearance anyway. :D

Amazing last minute surge for Libera's Carol of the Bells now pushes heavyweights giants Bocelle & Brightman aside in claiming UK No1 iTunes Downloads spot http://www.apple.com/euro/itunes/charts ... songs.html - 8.5hrs to go!..can it hold on for 2nd year running.

...big push on amazon too enjoying the highest placing so far No4

..and we are just awaiting the UK Official Chart Classical Singles to update their placings for this week http://www.officialcharts.com/official- ... les-chart/

The beauty of downloads is you can buy them instantly and right up to the 11th hour, the problem is we can't really declare the official Christmas No1 spot until Midnight tonight.

Please note these placings above are updated hourly and could change

Number 1 Download

Some will have seen, if you haven't Carol Of the Bells made number one Christmas download on iTunes for the second year running when it got there on Christmas Day.
The boys and everyone connected with Libera can feel justly proud of this achievement.

Indeed...alongside iTunes we know of, I took a screen shot of Amazon MP3 classical charts over Christmas and they sat on top of the pile for a good few hours;

They didn't quite make it 3-way clean sweep as the UK Official singles chart placed them 2nd, but this a weekly chart so maybe at some stage they were No1 there too.

All in all a very productive period for Carol of the Bells which captured the public (not especially libera fans) imagination. This could be a perennial christmas favourite for years to come.

Farting around on YouTube this evening I noticed that COTB video has gone past 600,000 views - pretty much record viewing figures in a year for a Libera video I suspect ( I know GH has more but that has been posted for years).

Also, the old Three Cooks Silent Night has flopped past 1,000,000

In fact a lot of videos seem to be cranking up the views - hope this means the news is getting out there :D
