Another sneak preview video here...

So far the main player appears to be the soprano Clara Sanabras at 3:30. You could try and convince yourself it's Libera but it's more likely to be her. Not sure we'll have that 'Benedictus Deus' moment as per 'The Greatest Miracle' but you never know.... Maybe Libera will join forces with her.

Once things for sure, the animation is a lot better.... the storyline more powerful and appealing.

I don't know if anybody is aware of this, but the Amazon UK page for the soundtrack says it will be released on June 2nd. Here's the link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/CDs-Vinyl/Ma ... B01IENRFZC

Well, this release date may be in jeopardy. I just received a message back from Mark Mckenzie about it after sending a message to him through his website, and he doesn't believe the release date to be true, but he'll check with someone at Sony just to be sure. In addition, a person on the Film Score Monthly forum said in a message today that he received confirmation that the soundtrack would not be released this week, but probably sometime in the Fall. He didn't specify how he received that confirmation. I don't know why Amazon and other websites are still claiming the June 2nd release within a few days of it. The wait for this soundtrack seems to be neverending.

Today Amazon sent me an email about the 'Max and Me' CD being delayed for unspecified reason.

The release date on amazon is still said as June 2, but in the email the delivery date is now positioned somehow at the end of June.
As they open a large 2 weeks window for this delivery, it could be a sign that the new date is not firm at all.
Perhaps it's just an automatic message that added a full month to the original date.

"We’re writing to let you know that the following items have been unexpectedly delayed:
McKenzie, Mark "Max & Me (Original Motion Picture Score)"
Estimated arrival date: June 23 2017 - July 08 2017
"

I just got an e-mail from Amazon telling me that the expected arrival date is now between July 12 to July 27. I would be surprised if it even comes that soon, unless they decide to release the soundtrack long before the film is ever released. Dos Corazones Films has been silent about the film for quite a while, so I don't know what's going on.

We will have to wait to know if Libera has a significant song on this film sound track. Amazon sent an email saying my order is cancelled because the CD is not available. On the amazon page it's said the same....

Was the movie itself even released somewhere ?

I'm sure it hasn't been released anywhere yet. I got an e-mail response from Dos Corazones Films early this week, and apparently they are still working on some aspect of film production. They wouldn't specify exactly what they are doing or when the film is going to be released. We'll just have to keep waiting for some news. I used the e-mail address posted on their facebook page in case you're wondering.

I thought I would put a link to a recent facebook post from Dos Corazones Films. It seems that this film will be viewable in both 2D and 3D. Perhaps that's why they have delayed the release for so long.

Never mind, I saw an article from 2015 saying that it would be a 3D film. Maybe they'll say why the film's release was delayed so long once it's released.

I wanted to mention a couple soundtrack samples that haven't yet been mentioned here. At http://markmckenzie.org, a Max & Me soundtrack excerpt from "A Mother's Prayer" was added featuring Joshua Bell. There is also a sample from the "Triumph Over Fear" track that has been there a while. There is one more sample at https://www.facebook.com/DosCorazonesFi ... =2&theater.

There is an article at Mark Mckenzie's official website with some additional information about the soundtrack. The article is dated Dec. 5th, 2017, but it has been updated since then. It sounds like they plan on releasing the soundtrack long before the film is released. It's worth mentioning that the soundtrack was recorded around mid-December 2015! While it's not clear how prominent Libera will be in the soundtrack, it does list Isaac London as a soloist. So, I guess we'll get to hear at least one more new solo from Isaac!

Very interesting, thank you for the update :D. I am looking forward to the release. I am extra curious now as to what this soundtrack will be like overall now that you have posted this update. From the sample clips, which annoyingly auto-play at the bottom of the website  , it sounds like Libera's role will mostly be atmospheric vocals but that remains to be seen. Since Isaac is credited as a soloist I imagine that there is more here than just those atmospheric vocals though.

Please keep us updated! :D

Well, it appears that the soundtrack will finally be released on March 9th and will be available "at most digital music outlets" according to the article at http://www.markmckenzie.org/max-and-me- ... classical/. It doesn't give any date for releasing a CD.

Hopefully it will be available on Spotify too. I'm looking very much forward to hearing a probably yet unknown solo by Isaac. Still a week to go...
