So far 3 songs they sung are known: 'Orinoco Flow', 'Sanctus' and 'What a Wonderful World'.alcesalcesobservator wrote:I wonder if this was the only song they sang?

hahaha, thanks for such undeserved complimentsalcesalcesobservator wrote:I found a video! On Facebook! By typing in "Libera Viking Sea"! FDL, I sit at your feet. I thank you, O Master of Internet Delving, for your wise instruction.
Of course, the video was taken with a potato, but it is clearly "A Wonderful World." I wonder if this was the only song they sang? (Sorry, it won't embed, even with switching the site from Youtube to FB. )
Yes, the video quality is quite low, but thankfully it exists
Amanda used her photo vertically, which never helps for recording a video, but mostly it's because she was not in the atrium during the songs. She was seated on the pool area (deck 8 ) and what she recorded is the big screen that displayed libera singing 6 decks beneath

Someone posted her video on YouTube also, but it's so poor in quality it's really not worth linking.
Re: The Viking Sea Ship Christening 2016
Wow, thanks for posting. Good idea, Facebook Video! I think there is a way to do it so the video is embedded. I shall take a look into this in a couple of weeks.alcesalcesobservator wrote:A little something to add to Libera's long line of accomplishments: Ship christening.
(If anyone here knows how to embed videos from FB, go ahead.)

It's not hard, just select "Facebook" from the pull-down menu for BBvideo, then change the URL to match the example they give you.paul wrote: Wow, thanks for posting. Good idea, Facebook Video! Re: The Viking Sea Ship Christening 2016
The photo I posted yesterday comes from this video publishes by Viking Cruises, about the 'Viking Sea' christening.
There's a (very) short glimpse of Libera for 2 seconds at 0:43"

I'm very disappointed that Libera did not get a mention, and only a two second picture in this promotional video.fan_de_LoK wrote:The photo I posted yesterday comes from this video publishes by Viking Cruises, about the 'Viking Sea' christening.

A new photo posted on the Libera facebook page about this event. The caption reads "As half term approaches, some of us sure wish we were on a cruise ship again having a holiday."
