Just in case that anyone is seeing the changes I am making, you may need to fully reload the page. Holding down the Ctrl key and pressing F5 will reload the page and all the images.
Cheers

I'd prefer a style with lighter colors as well. I also really liked how the previous style would show that a forum had unread topics by changing the color - it's harder to check for new posts with a click glance with the new style. But I agree - thank you Paul for all your work!

Only think for me that was better in old version, that I can think about, was about where to find all new posts. In old version it was very easy - as I log in, I was able to see that link on the top of page, but now I need first to click on "Quick links" and only then get to "New posts".
Hi Chris and Liesma, I’d like to draw your attention to - or should I say advertise or promote?
- the “Active topics†button to check for new posts. This is the quickest way and really useful, because you don’t have to login first and see everything new
and you can choose the period of time of recent posts!
Paul, I also miss a little bit that it needs two clicks now instead of one. Yes, I am lazy
, but I consider it an essential function, so in my opinion it would deserve some comfort. Do you really think that one more button would be too much for a cluttered top?
Anyway, thank you for all the time you spend for keeping the forum running at its best and for letting us take part in deciding!
Normally, I get used to changes quickly and after a very short time I can't even remember how it was before.
Am I wrong or is the line pitch smaller now? It seems much better to me than before ... so I think there has been a change, but I am not sure.
I always like much text displayed on one screen, which means less scrolling. Of course, this is my personal opinion only.
Oh, I’ve just realized that the more comfortable way of logging in you recently installed has vanished. Is it possible to “re-install†that?

Unfortunately, that is something that requires much more in depth modification and is not easy to change, so I will leave it as is.

It is not possible, as the old modification is not compatible after the recent update. If and when it is updated, I will re-install it again.

Thanks for sorting this out Paul I don't know why all these IT bods have to always change everything (Microsoft I'm looking at you and your Windows 8 disaster) I'm sure things will settle down and eventually we will be able to tweak things more to our liking but one request....can we do anything about the banner heading and the 'Libera Dreams' title? It just looks really naff and out of date to me

I can assure you, it is temporary. I had a few issues with mobile phone / device support so had to make the change as most visits are from mobile devices. For now, things are working, despite a few little bugs.

Will this forum be posting news about, dates, and venues for the forthcoming USA tour? Seems there shoukd be more discussion here regarding this and recent Libera news.

Hi Protius,
There is a thread for this in the Concerts & Public Appearances thread. Not much news yet but as it comes through that is the place to add it.

So I have made a very simple site banner using the Libera font, as suggested by Yorkie and FDL.
I will create something a little more pleasing to the eye soon. For now though, this is pretty neutral, simple and certainly does not look out of place, unlike the previous mess that spilled out of my design package.

I've just checked the site on my Iphone, and it seems to work very well. Many people are checking in on smart devices these days.
Hmm, maybe ill just make it look a little prettier, but still keep it very simple. Also the font in in the public domain, so there is no copyright issues

This looks really nice, indeed.
