I suppose I could apply the same logic to "Salve Regina", but I'm not sure about that one.
Possible, but that begs the question as to why it was not on the US tour? We know it was recorded before the US tour and so it must have been rehearsed. For that reason I am not as sure about this song.

Libera's website says that information about the tickets for Japan is "to be advised"
Libera updated yesterday the news about the Japan tour, on the official website. Now links to buy the tickets through the Kajimoto site are provided.
https://libera.org.uk/news/libera-in-japan-2018/

I gave a look on the ticket sales.
Situation is contrasted from a concert to another.

As example, the 1st concert in Tokyo is not far of being sold out. On the 1st floor only remains a few seats in the corners of blocs 4 and 8.

On other concerts, more seats are available.

In Nagoya we can't chose ourselves the seats but the system gives me a seat in row K, which is roughly in the middle of the hall.

In Osaka on the 1st floor only the central blocs 2 and 5 are fully taken. The floor is currently sold at about 50%.

In the four concerts the premium tickets are gone.
When the sales opened, I saw a tweet from someone in Japan saying that all the premiums seats for a concert in Tokyo went sold out almost instantly, in less than 10 seconds!

I share your logic :D

It will be a slightly changed set list i think due to the album launch around the same time.

So it will be difficult to perform but with such a talented batch of kids I don’t see why they can’t perform it live.

Kajimoto sent today a tweet informing foreingers libera fans that it is possible to buy tickets using an interface in English :

It is a nice improvement :)

The downside is that there is no seat selection through this interface. It's the system that attributes the seat.

Reading this message posted today in the chat section made me to wonder about the song 'Angel'.

That song was created for the Japan by the famous composer Takatsugu Muramastu. Its première was at the concert at the
Universal Studio in Osaka at Summer 2015. Since, the song is still used by the USJ park as main tune for the Christmas show and festivities, which helps to make the song very popular.

Since its première at the USJ, Robert had 'Angel' sung at each and every concert until the China tour 2017, then it stopped.
The song was not sung at Westminster Cathedral and not sung at all in 2018.
Perhaps it is a sign that the USJ park will change its Christmas show main tune this year ?
It would be logicial that they renew their show after 3 years.
But even though, the song is famous in Japan, so I guess Robert may have it back for the Japan tour, like some songs that are more often sung when touring the USA.

Here the main point: while searching infos on 'Angel' on the French forum (thanks The Furby), I noticed something that I had forgotten. Since 2015 the song had not 3 different solosits as I though, but 4!
Let's go for a mini-quiz: the soloisits on 'Angel' were Isaac, Camden, Ben... and ?

Yes, Alex M is 1 among 4 of the soloists to have sung Angel, so far.

At first, Isaac had the song at Summer 2015 and he kept it during one year.
Then it changed at the Poland-Germany summer tour in 2016.
On the 3 concerts of that tour, 'Angel' had 3 variations experienced.
  • At the first concert on July 27 at Church St. Kazimierz, Alex was alone on 'Angel', standing in front of the others.
During that concert Alex had a very important role and he assured beautifully many solos. Sadly it didn't last for long. Not many regular fans had the unique chance to attend this particular concert.

  • The next day, July 28 at the concert on Krakow market place, things were already different.
'Angel' was sung in trio, by Camden, Isaac and Alex M, as can be seen in the photo.

  • And then at the Vallendar concert on August 2nd it was Camden alone.
He kept the position for one year, till the USA Summer tour 2017.
Then the solo went given to Ben, for the China tour
As the song will be likely sung in Japan, it is also likely that Ben will have it back, his voice was very good on Eternal Light this Summer :)

That's a nice research you made ! Yes, Alex M seems to have been really gifted and did wonderful solos... I wasn't lucky enough to hear it. But I really enjoy the recorded ones ! Some of the boys are really talented and don't get to record many solos (like Gabe), and some get to record a lot but not to perform a lot on stage. What's even more terrible is when they don't perform a lot on stage and don't get to record :o

Cool! Too bad many of us never got to hear it. Alex M was very good as a treble and several songs on which he soloed are forever preserved on "Hope". :D

Kajimoto and Japan fan club operated by Libera-Records announced the Halloween event on 25 October, the day before the concert in Osaka.

Currently infomation
Date & Time: 25 October 2018 19:00
Venue: Somewhere in Osaka City (To be Announced)
Tickets:
- the Lottery Sales: Japan Fan Club (Available only in Japan), T-Ticket (Available only in Japan), etc
- the General Sales: Unknown
Event Title: To be Announced
More detail is to be announced.

Unfortunately, but as is usual, I have no idea if they consider foreigners for ticket sales.

I think... that week is too heavy schedule for boys. I'm a little worried. :?

My thought exactly!

This is crazy, but understandable~

This is good news. Still a pity that we who live overseas cannot choose the seats, but oh well, better than nothing...

They have made the concert tickets available for people from overseas, right? Maybe they will also do that for the event, as foreigners who come to Japan for the Libera concerts (especially for the one in Osaka) will probably want to go to that event too. But that's just my guess.
I don't think this is too much of a schedule for the boys. Heavy? Yes, but not THAT worrying. They have handled the China tour with 5 concerts in a row last year really well, so this time shall be fine I think. :D

The halloween event's venue is still unpublished and may be a place different from the next day's concert.
In that case, its scale will be probably smaller than concerts.
I don't know how many tickets will be released. I guess it is fewer than concert's one.

The tickets of this tour were also able to be purchased only by the Japanese people at the beginning of sales.
Therefore, I do not know whether tickets will be distributed to overseas fans.

Of course, if I find that they become available for purchase the tickets, I will let you know here. :)

I agree. My impression is that the staff looks after the boys really well. On the US tour the boys had a few days of relaxing after the last concert and maybe they will have some extra downtime in Japan as well.
Plus, these are not average boys :) they are the Libera touring group, well prepared and especially skilled at handling jetlags and endless lines of superfans
