Totally agree about Still, Still, Still and Agnus Dei!
You raise me high beyond the sky
Through stormy night lifting me above

The go-to one for me when I want to find comfort is You Were There, especially the part 'You are shelter from the storm - All shadows fade away, all cares pass away' - this is the song which can remind me of exactly how I felt during the days when I first discovered Libera. Some of you may have remembered me from my early days as a Libera fan - I was super-duper-hyper active everywhere about Libera, and I usually talked about the motivation I got from them (like the world is instantly a better place, I suddenly have hope for the future, it seems like nothing can go wrong when I still have Libera music with me, etc.) - this very song can take me back to those days. All the overflowing positive feelings back then can make a comeback with this song, sparkling as ever. So yes, this is the one song for me - I don't want to listen to it too much for fear it would lose this magical effect, if that makes any sense. Angel and Far Away can also have this effect, but not as strong.

Some other songs I think of right now: Secret (calming, carefree, as a little child without any heavy thoughts), Be Still My Soul (something about RP's arrangement really hit me, especially when it comes to the 'grand' part near the end only to end in unison 'at last'), Abide With Me (nothing much to say, 'ills have no weight and tears no bitterness'), Lament (feels like you can just take a deep breath while surrounded with fresh wisdom from the past in the air :?: ), How Can I Keep From Singing' (fresh new start of life), We Are The Lost (don't know why, but my soul just feels a calming breeze whenever I play it), Lux Aeterna & Twilight is Stealing (like a calming afternoon, these two have lured me to sleep from time to time). Other honorable mentions would be Home, Hymn to Mary, and Sing Lullaby.
Aliens: What does the humankind have that can be given out for the sake of the universe?

I knew I forgot one! I'll add "Still, Still, Still" to my list as well.

As Lux Aeterna was mentioned a few times - just to make sure: That's the piece I meant with "Robert's In Paradisum" in my initial post (yes, I prefer the Ed Day version). Not to be confused with the other In paradisum composed by Ben Robbins, which I like, but is not under my "comfort roof".

Hehe, although this is a fantastic song, which draws you in, it's also eerie ... so, more dis- than quieting.
I'll have to revise this, I'm afraid. Certainly tuning the lyrics out 8), I must say that the energetic music, the superb singing, the fabulous sound very well qualify to transfer this energy to me, when I need it, and this brings me comfort indeed. :)

It would have to be Dreaming of Home - https://youtu.be/cOw8AvB_CX4

This version is from Libera’s 2018 album
Camden Stewart is the soloist in this version and despite what others say I think he did a fantastic job.

That’s not to say I wouldn’t have liked to hear the version that Tom D.L (my fav Liberan of all) used to perform at concerts c.2012-2013. But Libera never recorded him singing the song despite requests from fans.
Fans who were lucky enough to hear him perform Dreaming of Home live say he was phenomenal- the way he would just switch up and down the scales so smoothly and crystalline clear.

There is a very poor quality recording of it from a concert in China. I’m guessing someone recorded it secretly on their phone but really it sounds like the phone was in a pocket because it’s hard to make out the voices properly. Also, as it’s in China, it was posted on their version of YouTube, since the platform is banned in China.
You briefly hear Tom hitting some very high notes and although very impressive, that’s about all you hear of him.
