If I'm honest, I really struggled with these podcasts. It took me a few attempts to get through them. I understand the intention, but I'm not convinced this was the right format. There was some interesting information in there and of course I enjoyed hearing about Cormac and other treble's experiences going through a voice change, but it was a difficult listen for me. And well frankly, not to put too fine a point on it, I found Prof. Ashley a bit boring...
I'll still follow Cormac as long as I enjoy his voice, which I still do, but I'm not persuaded about these podcasts.

Re: Cormac Thompson
Personally, I didn't find him problematic in any way (though I certainly think I can understand why others may), but the way the whole thing was facilitated in general. Not to be repetitive, but in an attempt to have an open forum they just went around in circles a lot. But I say this as someone who likes to get to the heart of things fairly quickly in a serious discussion, and I don't like, want, or need a lot of fluff and window dressing to do so. So I'm a biased listener in that regard.
That said, I respect them greatly for having the dialogue and sharing so much. It was nice to hear from Cormac and his mother about his ongoing journey, as well as from the others who shared their experiences. Even the professor had a number of informative things to say that were new to me. So there is that!
But we're so busy complaining we may have forgotten how rare it is for a former top-level treble to faciliate this sort of thing....so there's always that.

I agree, this sort of dialogue from a top treble is rare. But I feel like this could have been cut down to maybe a 2 x 45min at most if you removed the repetition and fluff. I mean this could have made a fascinating TV documentary, but if it had gone that way it would be no more than 2 eps, one with life as a treble, and the break, and then resuming in second ep on the break transition and the future. Anyway, I guess it has some value, but I'd have preferred more songs...
