I would be careful about judging a group according to whether they have a tour currently planned. Different groups are in different situations. What's most important is that they stay active musically. Now, if they don't go on a tour in the next six months and don't even do a single concert I would definitely be concerned. The Grazer Kapellknaben, Bratislavský chlapÄenský zbor, and Les Petits Chanteurs de France toured the USA, ÄŒeský chlapecký sbor Boni pueri went to Croatia, The Palestrina Choir went to Finland, the NINE from Trinity Boys Choir just left for a two-week tour of Germany and Luxembourg, and the Georgia Boy Choir is headed for Iceland.
Those are just the ones I know about.
While it's true that international travel is more difficult these days, some choirs have placed a high priority on rewarding their boys after two years of disappointment.
Any chance for a return to the US this summer?
