Oh I like the pencil case. I was too determined to get a good seat at the DC tour this summer to even look at the merchandisefan_de_LoK wrote: ↑1 year ago Libera Records publishes the list of goodies prepared for the tour in Japan.

Re: Japan Tour - October 2023
This is interesting. A couple of the newbies are 12-ish. I don't think Libera would recruit older talent unless they're ready for prime time like Frederick and Mitchel were when they suddenly appeared out of nowhere. The Japanese audiences may be in for a surprise.
I think we'll see Luca take a step back as others step up. Ave Verum appears very questionable as Freddie looks like a legit teenager now.

So the boy with the yellow suitcase is new and the one next to him?
I’m so bad with faces after a year and a half of not hearing them live.

Can’t see Sammy Whaley anywhere. I’m sure that’s Morgan is behind Federico, but where’s Sammy?
Also it’s just struck me that with Daniel, Koji and Victor being the only ’Bigs’ now, and with Victor likely to step out after Christmas, we’re gonna need to either invite some of the recent alumni back, or hope the likes of Laurence D and Freddie M have a smooth vocal transition - both are currently in the alto/contralto range (in their ‘other’ choir), with Freddie still able to switch up to treble.
The last time there was a shortage of Bigs was in 2018 (Camden Stewart and Alex Montoro), and before that in 2017 (Isaac and Alessandro).

Samuel was in the practices and is on the program roster, but he does appear to be missing.Mercurial909 wrote: ↑1 year ago Happy to see four newbies.

As for the Bigs, I think it was a creative decision to bring the new trebles in lieu of some Bigs. We'll probably see more Bigs in December.

The lads already out enjoying themselves, as they should since the coming week is half-term for most pupils in the UK.
Also, looks like Sammy W is there after all.

The photo from Haneda airport showing only 29 people was misleading.Mercurial909 wrote: ↑1 year agoAlso, looks like Sammy W is there after all.
On the Itami airport photo we can see that all the 30 boys announced by Libera Records are on the tour

This is Kanade Sodai, a (rare) 13-year-old Japanese treble. He sang a song in Nagoya with the CVMS group that recently toured Japan. He's a huge Libera fan and plans to be in the audience at the Osaka concert. He recently posted a video for "Far Away" where he sang 23 harmony parts and layered them himself. Give him a view and a like if you feel so inclined.

The lads seem to have had a busy, and more importantly a FUN first couple of days in Japan….

Thanks for the photos everyone!
We also have some preliminary concert soloist and speeches data from our very own fan_de_Lok!
I hope he doesn't mind that I share this here
