It actually originated with Dominik. He had a YT channel during COVID where he sang and played the piano. One thing he sang was Cum Dederit, and it was so good that Sam wrote a Libera arrangement for it and they made the music video.Jake4263 wrote: 3 months ago With this new generation so talented, I wouldn't be surprised if they cover Cum Dederit... The challenge taken up by Dominik Clarke was a real success even though the song is really technical! It seems however that it was written especially for him so much he masters it!

Actually, he never sang "Cum Dederit" on his YouTube channel. Though it came to light at some point that the song was done at his initiative.Luckdragon wrote: 3 months agoIt actually originated with Dominik. Re: The solo that made you vibrate?
This is an interesting question which I've been thinking about because it's not asking what solo is most impressive but which resonated with you and so it's a very personal answer. If, Ave Verum and Cum Dederit are definitely up therefor me but I'd go for 2 others. One I wasn't sure about when I first heard about it but now it really rings through me which seems to fit the criteria of the question. And one that did strike me from the very first hearing. The first is Rocco's recording of In Paradisum - the power in the choruses with Rocco's voice soaring above them gets me every time now. The second which got me on first hearing was Camden on Dreaming of Home. That soaring descant reminds me of birds taking flight somehow and it's so beautiful.
