That may be true, but it would be cool if he was.

It really would be cool if he was it would kinda be a "HAHA YOU SUCKERS THOUGHT I WAS GONE!!! THINK AGAIN!!!!!!!!!"

Josh said on the "Libera in their Own Words" portion that he has begun writing lyrics....I wonder if we'll ever see a "Josh Madine" composition as he tours with Libera?? It would be MEGA awesome if he wrote one of the tracks on this album like Touch The SKy or The Fountain.

Nope sorry guys but Tom is an ex-Libera, he is former Libera, he has ceased in Libera to be (to throw around a Monty Python skit).

Of course I don't mean he has already left for good (although I think the 'Pines may have been his last public hurrah), I expect to see him on the credits of this album.

But I've been wrong before (hard to believe I know).

I can so picture Tom saying that. Also I was a little confused about the posting. Is it Tom or Josh that has begun writing lyrics?

Josh. He said it in the DVD bonus video.

Thanks. I think that its great that Josh is writing his own lyrics. Like irishoreo, I too wonder if any of Joshs lyrics ended up on the album. Like he said, it would be MEGA awesome if that happened. Scratch that, it would be INCREDIBLY MEGA AWESOME!!!!!

No, I just don't think that "Ave Virgo" is a recent track. If you listen to "Ave Maria" and "Air" from New Dawn, "Ave Virgo" sounds just like Tom. The tone, phrasing and the little voice "quiver" are all the same... So its either a track recorded prior to Tom's voice change, or there is new voice in town to rival Tom's!

If it was previously recorded, would it not have been in "Eternal"?

Its possible that they could have recorded it a little bit after "Eternal" and kept it for this album. Kind of like a back up in case of emergency. They might record songs at times, but never release them at the time for various reasons. It seems artists have done this where they have unreleased recordings on newer albums that they created. Its highly doubtful I know, but possible. But like libera36 said, its probably a new voice that has the same tone that Tom has.

It pains me to say this (you know I don't like to disagree) but no way is it Tom (past, present or future). I'm still giving it to Ed but that is partly because I can't see Ed doing any of the other songs.

Well, I was right about something

Yorkie, I was searching for the correct words to use to gently let that cat out of the bag. I am glad that words failed me so that I can latch on and say:

"^^ What he said..."

If there are any active members of the group that would have a vocal performance close to Tom's it would be Ed Day - who sung second treble in support of Tom in Leiden or Stefan Leadbeater - who has been inheriting high pitched solos. If I had to hazard a guess for "Ave Virgo", I'd say it is one of them.

I feel that lacrymosa2 is correct that if the recording of "Ave Virgo" took place while Tom was still a treble (before Jan 2009) it would have been part of Eternal. The last "new song" of Eternal was a re-release of "A New Heaven" if they had a new track recorded then it would have been logical to include the new track instead of a re-release?
