More news just come in.

Lots of Japanese vendors are now listing this mini-album for pre-release, cannot find any photo of the album jacket but found some track listings here

Now bear in mind it's been put through the hit and miss google translator. I'll take a guess at my own interpretations;

Song:
(1)マドンナ・ヴェルデ (1) Madonna Verde (theme tune for the TV series)
(2)彼方の光 (2) Distant Light (Far Away?)
(3)あなたがいるから (3) You were there (Google translator 10/10 for this one)
(4)サルヴァ・メ (4) method Saruva (haven't got the foggiest idea)
(5)エターナル・ライト (5) Eternal Light (well done Google translator)
(6)生まれくる日 他 (6), and others get born Sun (another one I am left none the wiser)

So if there are any of our resident Japanese members in the forum, much appreciation if you cast further light on the above :)

P.S. I think this is the official website http://www.nhk.or.jp/drama/madonna/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I'm hoping more information will be updated in due course.

Thanks FDL,

So it might not be the 'Eternal Light' from Peace CD?

If it is, it will mean that only the theme tune for the series 'Madonna Verde' will be new to us. That will be the Libera/Muramatsu collaboration no doubt.

Edit: Ah just saw the end bit that says 'other' so there could be more content yet to be revealed ;)

In fact it is , despite the confused google translation :)

The reference is the theme used by Otsuka Pharmaceutical Industry in the Japan Industriel Pavillon, during the Shanghai expo.

And i thought the U,K got exploited by EMI. They keep trying to milk that faithful Japan fan base with the same songs over and over. How many albums do they need with " Far Away " on ?

judging by its title which is also the show's title, i doubt it will sound like the usual Libera+Muramatsu tunes, in the sense that they made the song for the sake of that TV show (made to accompany it), unlike Far Away & You were there which were chosen as theme songs. hence they probably made the song to suit the mood of the TV show.

hope the 'other' song(s) are new! oh but it's a mini-album, so we'll end up with 8-10 songs max?

Hi, dani! A friend in Japan wrote to me and said the show "Madonna Verde" airs on April 12 at 22 o'clock on NHK. The mini-album is then released on April 13.

She said the show is about a grandmother being the surrogate mother and giving birth to her daughter & husband's child. The daughter can't due to sickness.

Anyway, she thinks the theme song is done by Libera cause it's mentioned in the description for the theme song. ???

This Japanese blog blog confirms the airing on 12 April.

Maybe we will be able to watch NHK live from a stream site or from the "Keyhole" software as last year ;)

Hi! My friend from Japan wrote to me again to explain what is on the CD. She hopes this translates into English correctly.

Theme song of "Madonna Verde"
(Theme song of NHK drama "Madonna Verde". Takatsugu Muramatsu composes. )←new song

- Far Away (Theme song of NHK drama 'Hyouheki(Ice fall)' Takatsugu Muramatsu composes.)

- You Were There (Theme song of movie "No one defends" Takatsugu Muramatsu composes.)

- Salva Me (Theme song of NHK drama "Storm one day" )

- Eternal Light (Theme song of Otsuka Pharmaceutical Shanghai Expo Akira Senjyu composes.)

- I Am the Day (Ending song of NTV "person who wanting encounters it most in space") - and another.

MiniAlbum is put on the market from EMI on April 13. It is 2000 yen.

However Takatsugu Muramatsu who composes "Far away" "You were there" puts soundtrack CD on the market on the same day.

A certain CD shop is describing the name of LIBERA clearly in the explanation column of the sound track CD.

Therefore, I am guessing that LIBERA also participates in the sound track CD perhaps.

She said she will write again when she gets more news. :D

Yes, this reminds me of what Aled Jones said on the radio a few weeks ago - "With several international tours planned for this year, a new album and some new songs on the way already..."

Can't wait! :D
