I am not sure that seniority has anything to do with solos. A few of the older boys (JB and Tiarnan for example) have never sung a solo note in their careers with Libera. You have people like Liam O'Kane, Stephen Geraghty, Michael Horncastle, Ed Day and Tom Cully who had sung solo very early in their Libera careers.

I think it's a confluence of a chorister that has the stage presence to deliver alone, has the right voice (both in terms of pitch and texture) for a song or songs slated for inclusion in an album.

One kid I am really curious about and in fact I am expecting to hear sing solo either in Peace or I future albums is Kavana Crossley for the simple reason that Ben Crawley himslef has said to expect big things from Kav.

Well, then I think we can expect great things of Mr Crossley if Big Ben rates him. We might have an answer in just 5 weeks! How old is Kavana?

Thanks Patrick. That is one thing I'll miss about Libera Fans - they had an easy to access page with a bit of info on every past and present group member (plus a photo for those of us who struggle to identify one kid from another!).

haha i was close , wow some of the little boys are not even that little anymore

.. Its odd to think Tom Cully had been singing solo's for awhile when he was 11.

Alterted by your comment I have juste made a full check on the anniversary page, there is 3 errors more (:roll:)
- Tom is born on 2 (June or Jully), not on 6
- Steven Geraghty is born on 18 Jully, not on 6
- Freddie Ingles is born on 30 Jully, not on 8
I have emailed our webmaster, He should correct this quickly

there is a trouble regarding Tom Cully's Birthday.
Everyone says July. But where is this information coming from ?

We have found two printed documents (that should have been validated by Libera Staff) and they don't agree with each other

The older is this japanese print, that says : July

The newer is the Photo Album "Vision", printed in late 2005, that says : June

Which is right, which is wrong, I don't know

I will be glag if someone can add a good information about this question

(by "good information" I mean something that is not a web site saying what another web site is saying, but a printed document, or any interview or review coming directly from Libera, or whatever else that is at the start of the information, and not only someone relaying something coming we don't know from where
