I've been watching most of these clips the past two days to wind down a bit during a busy week. So thanks for posting them :)
I liked Ariszandra, Alice Fredenham, Alex Keirl and Rosie O'Sullivan. I could see the last three making it to the final. Luminites were nice too. For some reason I wasn't into the dancers so much, especially the little kids. Here's to hoping for a nice competition :)

ETA I liked him too :) I like his attitude.

Nearing the end of the auditions now. Can't say that any act has wowed me but I think I would vote for one or two of the female singers from earlier weeks. The 'talent' on offer this week:

[BBvideo 425,350][/BBvideo]

[BBvideo 425,350][/BBvideo]

I'll post this last one but I really didn't like her - from the nauseatingly staged sob story to her name (what bit of her is leaking one wonders), to a weak voice that seemed to always be a little flat, and the offensive use of vibrato to cover up her shortcomings. Awful. But, as usual, I'm in a minority of one it seems so here you go........

We're now at the semi-final stage of the competition. The first act going in to the final was the one that got the most votes from the public which was:

[BBvideo 425,350][/BBvideo]

Now I just don't get it. I think they are terrible, far worse than Jai McDowell from a couple of years ago. What am I missing? Please, somebody tell me why they are good because I can't see it - their voices are just too weak to my ears.

Anyway, the judges had to pick the next act for the final from the two acts that had the next most number of public votes and they decided to pick:

[BBvideo 425,350][/BBvideo]

She beat this kids dance group that came third in the public vote - personally, I thought they were better but what do I know.

What are the public & judges doing???? I'm not sure I can carry on with this rubbish :x John, the girl with the 'big hands' didn't make it :(

Winner of semi final 2 (lives less than 10 miles from me):

[BBvideo 425,350][/BBvideo]

Judges pick (same song as the audition - just not good enough in my opinion):

[BBvideo 425,350][/BBvideo]

In third place was these guys and I'm not surprised - I didn't like the song or their performance:

[BBvideo 425,350][/BBvideo]

Although only the first two acts go through automatically to the final, the judges can pick ONE of the third place acts to join them so I'll continue to post those as well.

There was no show on Wednesday due to a very boring football match so here are the acts from last nights show. No surprise about the first act but how on earth did those kids make it through ahead of Joseph?

Who knows. The producers too. On the show I watched tonight (from Thursday I think) there were four potential winners of whom one was picked. On the first final show they were all rubbish. The British public are known to be mad (they elected Tony Blair, remember). They chose Jai McDowell over Ronan Parke and who-knows-who over Susan Boyle (though the former was probably the Scots revenge for the latter). Dumping Ms Fredenham and picking a bunch of hyperactive pre-schoolers is just further proof of their poor judgement. I don't remember seeing a dog act in the early rounds - but if there was one, it will probably win. If there was a smiley expressing exasperation, despair, disgust and disappointment that is what you would see here.

At last, the public chose the right acts to go through to the final (i.e. they agree with me):

I not really much of a fan of BGT to be honest, but I have been watching the semis this week, well some when not falling asleep. Think this might be down to the crappy acts, but tonight, Attraction caught my eye. I think this was a pretty amazing performance. So much so, that I actually voted for them. I do hope they got through. I missed the results show, as once again I fell asleep. Well ill catch it on ITV+1 in a few moments.

HaHa

You must have posted as I posted Andy.

Glad attraction got through, they deserved it and should win in my opinion.

I have no idea who she is trying to be. Just sounds like progressively worse versions of herself. Horrible.
The two solo singers were clearly the best.

I believe that in the main it was a number of characters from a tv soap opera called 'Eastenders' which seems to be a popular show amongst women from the lower orders....

No surprise about the winner. Please don't mention the fact that the Union Jack is displayed upside down on a major British tv show - I would die of embarrassment....

Given the last few years results, no surprise at all that rubbish would be chosen over true talent.
Egging the judges was the high point of the series.

It's started again (last weekend) and to be honest it wasn't good. There were no acts I liked. For some reason this week one act was popular but as far as I'm concerned they don't have particularly good voices....

[BBvideo 425,350][/BBvideo]

Week two is better but the Magician, although good, is Canadian:
