The both work well with each other and well on their own. The real strength in this song for me is how well RP was able to work Joshua's new voice in with Ben's.

Agreed, the contrast between their voices gave depth to the song, and both Josh and Ben are very empassionate singers and their passion comes through in this score.TEB wrote:The both work well with each other and well on their own. Haha. I actually tried to listen without watching the video and it still works for me.whitetail1985 wrote:The video is simple, the song is great, but when i watch ben sing. when he says music his voice just seems to belt out more when i'm watching the video instead of just closing my eyes and listening to it.
Somebody sent you a copy then Tom. I thought about it but figured you would have asked if you didn't have it on the way through an 'unnamed' sourceTEB wrote:The both work well with each other and well on their own. Yah, my "unnamed source" did send me a copy. Was a surprise to when I saw the envelope in the mail.Yorkie wrote:Somebody sent you a copy then Tom. , I just think it makes his voice sound a little stonger watching the video

Not necessarily - they might have been recording tracks over a few months. They would have to do it a bit at a time because they can only really do it at the weekend, because of school and what have you.dani wrote:To be honest i was listening to O Sanctissima today and Ben's voice is quite soft and thin and yet Time he is out of this world. Now these songs would of been roughly recorded at the same time so it looks like they have added the strenth behind Ben's voice.
Because how can you have two songs and in them sound so different ???
Thanks for explaining that , just seems slighty odd as Josh's voice never became powerful as he did not have that type of voice. So for Ben's voice to change so drastically still rings alarm bells.Yorkie wrote:Not necessarily - they might have been recording tracks over a few months. O Sanci could have been done when he had his old voice (light and whispy so to speak) and 'Time' might be more recent (and Ben's voice might be blooming to a peak just before it starts to break).
Often the voice of a treble hits it's peak just before the voice change (not always, it can change quite suddenly). I think Ed entered this stage during the summer and it is possible that Ben is there now - he is old enough after all.
