Seemed like that was only a small crowd, only 250 people in the church. Much smaller than Dublin.

Matthew also did the high notes on Far Away

I wish I could fast forward time to hear their new album, because I'm sure it will be good

maybe it's time for the older boys to hand over the solos to the youngsters and let the regeneration begin.. can't wait any longer to hear the new album!
Am i being too optimistic about the new album?

Matthew did the high notes on "Far Away"? On the Easter tour, Kavana did them. I wonder why it was changed? Well I'm sure it was great and I am also anxious for a new album to come out with all the new soloists, although I like the previous albums a lot too.

You will understand this the first time you'll hear him !!
As I was in Dublin and Belfast, it had been a great privilege to have the surprise of this unknown and wonderfull voice !
Now that you know he have a good voice, the surprise will be less
I don't know how many schools R. Prizeman have visited. He must have made long castings to find a voice able to replace Tom on the high "aha" that R.P. use on many songs. Each time I heard one yesterday, I immediately look at Stephan, and it was him, and only him.
The only moment of the concert where I'm sure to have hear Mattew was on the Stay with me.
So R. P. have know found to High voicer, and they are both very talented
As I'm not a musician and have not any musical vocabulary about voices, it's hard to describe Matthew's voice... it's very round and"deep, sweet but also powerful. You must hear it !!
I hope Libera will publish quickly a video or something to make the fans discover this boy
It's still time to take a plane to Edinburgh or to Glasgow, I'm quite sure Ste Cathernine will not be much crewed than St Peter.
here a photo from the final photos seance in Belfast.

Matthew is in the shadow. I have a better one of him, but not yet found on my HD, I need to do a little sorting first.

Is his voice at all like Liam's?? Liam's voice has the same "deep" quality, but it is also sweet and powerful, like you describe Matthew's!!

Are they not allowed to appreciate and feel affected by the music the boys sing, than any other section of society?
Maybe the guy just wanted to be friendly, and saw your dad on his own so thought he would approach him to have a conversation. It's a normal thing to do after a concert, you just want to talk about what you've seen. Then after realising that he was there with his daughter, didn't want to feel he was intruding.
It's not always healthy to view situations from such a dark and sinister perspective.
Amen to this.
I am an older male and I am a Libera fan. I will not allow older men who enjoy their music to pigeon-holed into being stalkers. I have been asked to un-officially help moderate this board and I find this kind of discrimination intolerable.
I like all kinds of good music, whether it be rock&roll or treble choir music. That makes me nothing other than fan of music. I am the assistant teacher in my church's youth class. Does that make me a weirdo?
I am sorry they chose to stop the meet & greets but that is their choice,
Don't blame it on us single older adult males.

Guys, let's not speculate the reason behind the cancellation of the meet and greets. It can be simply because of the Swine Flu that's going around and Libera boys do have one more stop before the end of this Celtic tour.

I am really proud of Tom, he is taking on more tasks behind the scenes. Beside singing, he is also helping out with the setup before and after the performance.

Mini Ben's singing Secret? I think he's rather suitable for this song. Soft, a little gentle and sweet. He suits alot of the songs, whether it's (Far Away) Michael H's or Tom's, Mini Ben voice is perfect for alot of the songs Libera sings. RP just knows who to assign the solos to, and it seems like it's always a perfect fit.
