Nice find :) I guess this allows us to hear what it might sound like if girls also sang in Libera (see different thread). Let's say - different. Hard to really judge though with the sound quality being what it is.

--edit: Here is a better example. The same choir but singing a different Libera song, this time You Were There:

Pretty nice actually...

Also, I think this is the first time I ever heard another choir sing a Libera song :D I had been hoping for that and here it is - and a mixed choir at that!

Isn't that the choir that sang for the movie "Les Choiristes"? Even though the story was about a group of boys the choir doing the singing was a French mixed choir.

Might be over on the French forum but somebody posted a choir (again French) doing Voca Me. Good, but not a patch on the real thing.

That's the choir (les petits chanteurs de saint Marc, PCSM) who sang Voca me :-)

Interesting! It seemed like there were a few changes compared to the Libera version. And, IMHO, I think the choir sang the song too fast. I prefer when it's more reflective sounding, with a slower tempo.

I wonder if the choir had to get permission from RP?

Actually "You were there" and "Far Away" was composed by Takatsugu Muramatsu a Japanese composer....

True, but in my experience I consider them Libera songs as I don't know of any other choir who sang them. Maybe I need to catch up :)

didn't RP do the lyrics to at least one of those songs?

Yeah, RP did the lyrics for both tracks....the English lyrics...but not the melody...

I was surprised this wasn't on here yet. He was my favourite from day one and I was so glad he won. I don't like the new material that I heard of his album as much as this song though. But he is a great talent for sure.

Not a cover, but his own song, and with so much meaning.

Very sad.

So great! I feel that Jordan really enjoys singing--you can see it in the way he performs. He should have an album out already...I would definitely buy it. IMHO he's better than Bieber, although I guess it's kind of unfair to make a comparison because they sing different styles of music.

I'm certainly broadening my enjoyment of choral music outside of Libera, I found this, I might buy the CD.
