Well, I'm terrible at this sort of thing (much to the amusement of Patrick who took great delight in testing me on it) but I'm comparing that photo to the album cover and I'm not 100% convinced it is the same lad.
Yeah, I'm not either. The boy in the Peace booklet was much smaller, probably more around Mini-James or Freddie's size. This boy doesn't look very small at all...

Its also quite hard to account for all these small people, as quite a few of them were fairly hidden from site. Was Luke's brother standing behind Mine? There isn't a clear shot of 6 of the twelve boys, so its hard to assign any names...

Hello everyone,

Firstly, what fantastic weekend I lived in England!
I feared a little encounter with the unknown (driving on the left, speaking a language I do not control, meet strangers! ^ ^), And finally, what a wonderful time!

I do not feel very "pro" in Libera, but listen to the passions of everyone was a pleasure. This concert was my first and hopefully not the last. I really enjoyed the atmosphere before the concert, and I warmly thank Yorkie made me taste english beer. I can say here, and I dare: English beer is good! : D

The wait was perhaps a bit long, but as we were several French, it was easy to talk a little, for the development of speaking English is really not easy for me ...

Regarding the concert, it was a moment of happiness from beginning to end! I was on a cloud. A real beauty of sound, visual and emotional! Words fail me, and certainly lacking the translator of Google. ^ ^

I also had the chance to go attend mass at Norbury yesterday morning. It was really a great moment for me to experience this, and to sing and pray with a community so remote, and yet which seemed so close.
The Ave Verum during communion, and the "Deep Peace" will be etched in my memory long.

Anyway, here's my few quick review. Another big thank you to welcome everyone and hope to meet you again at an upcoming concert (when Libera come in France, ih ih, we will welcome you with pleasure ...).

Cheers!

Ahh, I didn't mean to imply that any one group were better fans than others so sorry if it came across that way. What I was trying to say was I didn't think the Far East performances would be more polished than Arundel but nobody mentioned it (and I have no problem with you putting forward your thoughts on the concert dani) and I wondered why.

Thats cool :)

I don't think it is a cultural difference in the way the concerts were precieved either. On the asia tour, the set of boys was smaller and had experience, despite cassius.

Now don't get me wrong in what I'm about to say, but with all the new boys added at once, it may have given the choir a bit of dead weight. not saying the new boys are bad, just saying that they don't have that live experience and confidence quite yet. there may have been times during the concert when the new boys got that deer in the headlights feeling and just froze up and maybe sang the wrong note, didn't sing at all, or didn't sing with confidence to allow notes to be supported and sound right.

Thanks for your input but just to be clear the performance involved the same kids that went on tour + Mine - the other 12 kids appeared occasionally right at the back of the stage but didn't appear to sing. The rest of the time they sat to the right of the stage and watched.

I think the 'younglings' were there to watch, experience and learn and not really to perform.

The problem that they will have with more boys is they simply wont all fit on the stage and if Robert does decide he needs more boys its just give a very untidy look to them on stage. They sometimes looked a bit cramped on Saturday and i dont see how he will be ableo to fit them 36 boys on stage all at once in later years.

Hi Jyaire - don't tell me that was your first trip to the UK and you live in Dunkirk! Shame on you

It was nice to meet all the French fans and thank you for making me feel part of your group by taking the trouble to speak English - I understood you all very well and your English is much better than you think.

By the way, where did you end up sitting for the concert in Arundel?

I was 4 or 5 rows behind you, and I was fortunate to be behind little old, and some children (sisters or cousins of a singer), so I had a very good view of the stage !

And like you, I understand that to rows were reserved for families, although at the time, it hurts a bit for having waited so long for not having the front rows! ;)

It's true that Dunkirk is very close to London, I have no excuse not to come back!

Bye

Hey again everyone,
great reviews guys its cool to hear what everyone else thought of the concert :) just a few points to make:
I really am sorry I didnt introduce myself! Though Yorkie I think we were sat opposite eachother at breakfast (about 9am, were you wearing glasses?) I could be wrong obviously! Next time I wont be so shy and rubbish and join in the fun!
Also Yorkie, I had a chat with Stefans family last year, they are really lovely!
I thought the unnamed boy in the peace booklet was there as although I didnt see him on stage (I was quite far back), at the end of the concert there was a little boy identical to the one in Peace asleep on his mums lap - Im assuming a brother!
Mysterium: I saw this in Arundel last year - it really was incredible with Ed doing the solo, I really enjoyed the coreography though this year, it was really cool to see Stef walking up the middle singing!
Overall the concert was amazing, I cant wait to see them again - hopefully it wont be a full year this time!
