My hatred for that caterwauling piece is likely even greater than yours
5.2 million views...
5.2 million people subjected to that horror, I pity them all.
Now, now, put those claws away! Those paw boys sang so nicely fur you!

Oooh I don't like the video but I have already heard it live and it is nice !
Though a few months ago I saw a 50 members grown-ups choir perform it now THAT was weird...

The Bratislava Boys Choir is a fun choir to watch and their version of the duet is no exception. I've skipped ahead to the song, but the entire concert is well worth watching.

Last time I attended a concert I was surprised to hear a song in arabic, and very pleased. It turns out they have a sort of partnership with Abu Dhabi.
The sound quality is poor but if you are curious you can hear 2 on this Youtube video

I discovered caterwauling! I don't know whether to laugh or cry. No, I'm kidding, I really liked this offbeat humor! They don't take themselves seriously, and we see them exchanging laughter!
This relaxed side is nice to see, because most of the time we see them rather serious and stiff as a board!
On this video, to 1min50sec we hear them singing "vois sur ton chemin" taken from the excellent film "les choristes". (English-speaking friends, I advise you to watch it! I don't know if it has subtitles... because in French).
This track is incredible to listen to!

Although I thought it was interpreted by the PCCB, I discovered that I was wrong...
In the film, the song is performed by Jean-Baptiste Maunier, then a member of the choir of "Petits Chanteurs de Saint-Marc", based in Lyon, and now called "Maîtrise Saint-Marc", https://www.am- saint-marc.fr/event/
Someone knows what happens to them because there hasn't been an event since 2022.

Uuuh long story short, Les Petits Chanteurs de Saint Marc crumbled slowly during the years after their success. Some former choristers called out the choirmaster for his behaviour, he was from what I understood described as emotionally abusive with some kids. He has been conducting other choirs though. Not sure where he is now... It is a sad story. They used to do good music, but it makes feel uneasy knowing the backstage atmosphere...
A few years ago (maybe 2018 ?) there was a musical "Les Choristes" in Paris and I think the choristers were from la Maîtrise des Hauts de Seine. It was good.

There have been some nice versions of "vois sur ton chemin" by other choirs that I have heard over the year's, it's a great song.
I went to Paris to see that musical one time at the Folies Bergère. I enjoyed it, at least the music, I struggled with not understanding much if anything of the dialogue, unfortunately. But it was still nice.

Not as good as Les Choristers by a long way. By the way I only ever watch it with the subtitles because that is the only way to accurately live the story.
