@Yorkie Wrong...you didn't cause any pain whatsoever. The faux heated typing of replies was to continue the fun! :-)

@Joel Indeed my 'amazing race' starts in a few hours so I'll be sleeping any minute now. I dubbed it "Amazing Race" simply because I'm a fan of that reality competition. That and because I'll fly to Manila, watch the concert, lounge at the airport after the concert and wait for my new dawn flight home to the Queen City of the South, Philippines. In reality it's not so amazing race because I'm doing it to cut cost because I'm just a normal 8-5pm worker type of guy that doesn't have all the money in the world. :)

Indeed, I was devastated to find out that Libera won't be visiting Cebu this time around and that the ticket is cash-basis only and can't be bought online. I was doomed not to see these shows until a fellow Libera fan friend offered to help. :)

The things we do for Libera... LOL!

It's a few years since I read the book but I don't believe crossing out a face in a picture was part of it.

I'm not sure what you are implying, all I'm saying is that I think Liam was indicating that Ed has left the group. You, Jimmy, seem to think it an accident and that is fine.

I believe the writing was on the wall with the change to the photo on the back of the album. I seem to recall you disagreed with me then too. Fine, I get the message.

I am impossible to annoy this week. I was introduced to Prizeman. Needless to say, I am drifting in the ozone layer...
Phew, you had me worried there :D How was the great man? I sort of met him after the Edinburgh concert. It was after the show and the boys were on stage to allow for photo's to be taken. I'm not really in to that kind of thing but I was hanging back to see if I could say goodbye to Patrick, who had come over all David Bailey (famous English photographer), but there was no chance of catching his attention as he snapped away in bliss. Anyway, I was stood in between the rows of seats near the front watching bemusedly when a bloke said 'excuse me' and climbed up on the seats to walk around me. Hmmh, thought I, that was RP.

Exciting claim to fame or what?
Meeting Robert was the biggest thrill of the week. He strikes me as a very private and reserved person. He listened intently to the introduction, smiled and thanked me for the support. He also autographed my copy of "Visions" (the first LIBERA album I purchased). I've been sleeping with it on my pillow for two nights now. It was actually a completely different level of being star-struck. There is a fleeting moment where you realize that without this man none of the music, the adulation or the community would be possible.

The other big thrill was during the autograph signing event when I found myself in a nice long chat with Callum Payne. He was describing to me how much things have changed for a member of Libera - comparing how when they started out touring when they promoted "Free" to the spectacle we were watching. He asked me if I had seen videos of their earlier tours. I mentioned the one that resulted in the most memorable Michael Horncastle quote of all time (the one in my signature below). He remembered it instantly and smirked exactly the same way he did on the video.

Oi Yorkie, anything less than 5 seconds doesn't count.

Last year, I chased (yes, that's the only way I can describe it  ) RP for his autograph. Fortunately, he was cool about it, even though I took ages trying to get out the CD cover. Hmm...might be a claim to shame.lol

I didn't know what you might have been insinuating, when you countered my suggestion that Liam signing over Ed's face was not a mistake. So you feel it was just Liam's way of saying Ed's not in the choir anymore? Fair enough if you think that. I still think it was an unfortunate slip of the hand, in a very rushed situation.

Well it is great news that Libera is gaining more fans and that the Philippines love them dearly. Now if they come to the States...

I love the new vid because we can see even more details, like the cameraman unwittingly walking behind the boys as they were being filmed.

Or the fact that as grown up as he is now, Joshua Madine still has that smile in his face when singing. :D

Besides Liam could not of done it by mistake as he replied "he is not here" somebody posted that comment when they asked him why he had done it. So thats not a mistake.

Nice one Joel. I'm sure Callum and the other old boys are happy that they weren't confronted with crowds of fan-girls screaming there name and swooning over them in their day. It is every teenage boys nightmare so I'm sure he is in no way envious

I'm sure RP would be extremely embarrassed to know you were sleeping with his signature

Prized possessions are supposed to go under matresses... at least until you have time to put them in safety deposit boxes... :D

(Although the very fact that I just happened to have an album booklet and a sharpie with me when I was introduced to him should already have been proof positive of my Libera based zealotry.)

Another bit of Libera trivia... On the album cover of Free - that's Callum's hand

cayleb has uploaded Libera's appearance on the music channel Myx:

It aired today at 1am, 11am, and 5pm, if I'm not mistaken.

Gosh, Cassius is too cute!

And if anyone's wondering, lechon is Philippine's version of suckling pig.

 Cassius is so cute! I have no idea what that "disney sound" he made was, but it was absolutely adorable! He does have quite a deep voice, though. And what happened to Luke?

Hmm...maybe Luke was tired? haha. I don't know.

I think Cassius might be imitating Donald Duck, but that's just a guess.
