irishoreo wrote:Hi All I'm Deshaun from the US(New Jersey) and I've just recently came across Libera around Christmas time and I just fell in love with the music. Unfortunately I also came at a time where the first ones i happened to be introduced to are at a point where their voice is breaking and they're leaving the touring group :-(. Oh well what can you do? The upcoming talent is bound to be amazing, I have yet to be disappointed by any member of the group.

This forum should be interesting for I was reading some of the older posts in other topics and things can get really heated but sometimes you need to be challenged :-). It's go to see such a strong following for such an amazingly talented group.
Welcome to the forum Deshaun! Yeah, sometimes when we get bored a conversation can become quite heated. But for the most part, we are all harmless! RIGHT YORKIE!!!!

Hey, hmmh, err, what's that? You talking to me??

Hi Deshaun, welcome to my (ooops, slip of the tongue) the forum. Interesting user name irishoreo - is oreo as in the bird (and maybe the nickname of a sporting team) or as in cookie (in which case yum!)?

And don't worry about the funny types that hang around here, they're mostly harmless

Hahahaha almost close Yorkie. I'm a mixed nationality of Black(not sure if its African American or Caribbean) and Irish, those are my main two nationalities, but I have blood ranging from most of Western Europe, Scandinavia, Asia and I'm also Lenape Native American. And I've always been dubbed one of the "whitest black guys in and tri-state area" so yea in a sense I am like the cookie, black on the outside, white ont he inside haha

Blimey, what an interesting mix 8) The best thing I can say about my heritage is that I had a Great Uncle who emigrated to the States in the 1880's....seems a bit dull really in comparison

I can see you're going to be a great addition to the boards that man. What job you doing that needs to work overnight? (and you don't need to answer if you don't want, I'm just being nosy)?

No worries, I work with Developmentally Disabled adults in a group home setting, where they live in a home and there is staff to take care, watch over, and teach them. I'm normally a weekend staff and do activities with them, but I've been having bouts of insomnia so I decided to apply for overnights (11pm to 8am or 9am in my case) to obtain more funds so i can buy all the Libera cd's lol

Wow! That takes a really special person to be able to do that work 8) Any chance you might one day share Libera with the people you work with?

Welcome Irishoreo.
It is nice to have a fellow Libera fan sort of close by. I live in Pennsylvania about 25 miles west from Harrisburg, the capitol.

Hello, I'm new to this website and Forum. My name is Nicole and I seem to have already found quite a few of my Facebook friends already here! I live in London so I'm very near the very group this website was made for! Great to be here! =)
