If you have a pair of Sperry Topsiders, I would recommend them. Always works with me.Moppi wrote:How about low cut chuck taylor like shoes? would that be allowed with a smart casual get up? Could you guys SMS your queries to me at one of the numbers
given out for ticket sales instead of turning this thread into an FAQ- how to dress for a Libera show? Let's be considerate
of others on this thread by not flooding it with minutiae.

Mini-concert number 1 is over.
12 Songs
1. Adoramus
2. Libera
3. Time
4. Sanctus
5. Sanctissima
6. Exsultate
7. Deep Peace
8. Orinoco Flow
9. Fountain
10. Love and Mercy
11. How Shall I Sing That Majesty
Encore: Bayan Ko
The solos, of course, is the same as that reported in Japan and Korea.
Notes:
1. Alex and Ralph were sort of helping Josh in the verse.
2. In Love and Mercy, I was expecting Freddie to sing first because it was reported in Korea that James M. sang Josh's old part. What I saw was that James M sang first and then Freddie. Doesn't matter much...
3. After "Libera", it was Josh who introduced the concert and themselves.
4. After "Orinoco Flow", (insert name of chorister here, was it Ben? or Ralph completely forgot) gave some info about the song and said something to the effect of "Of all the places in that song they've been only to one place, Cebu".
I had my pen and paper ready to take notes after each song, but from the start I realized that it was too dark to even attempt to write.
The mini-concert took about an hour to finish. The autograph signing also lasted for an hour.

Just came home from the Matinee Performance of the Libera Peace Philippine Summer Tour as well. Since I've already attended the Podium Meet and Greet I just went straight home after the performance.
Add to that:
- Adoramus and Libera didn't have any breaks in between, in comparison to the other songs.
- Ben introduced How Shall i Sing That Majesty, in a rather jolly skippy way.
With this promo performance I became a bigger fan of Stefan and Jakob. I wish either of them becomes the soloist for Far Away in the near future.
Although I am a bit sad that they didn't include either Far Away or You Were There it the new songs they did from PEACE were good, so who am I to complain?.
I hope they have come back next time with a FULL concert.
Yeah, it was indeed James and at first he had some sort of trouble doing Josh's part (you can see on his body language) on the earlier parts of the song. Nevertheless it was much better on the later parts and the end part.phlibera wrote: 2. I think it was James Threadgill. Memory kinda murky.phlibera wrote: 4. Yeah, I intended to jot down notes, but at the very start the reality of a dark theater shook my IQ from the get-go... Haha...Moppi wrote:I think it was James Threadgill. Yeah, same peeps. I'm a bit miffed on a friend of theirs that is based here in the PH(?), she's like asking why the setlist is short. Well it is after a PROMO performance.phlibera wrote:And I saw some Japanese folks in the autograph signing. I assumed they were Japanese because they were holding the Japanese concert programme.Very rich Japanese...

And I also saw that beautiful video-taking JP lady as well.
Also the Carlos P. Romulo Theater wasn't like the largest of places as said on the RCBC Plaza website. But nevertheless the place gave the performance some charm of it's own, and who are we to complain when it made you see the boys more much better? A part of me is wanting to see them now from here on in this place, it feels more intimate (do their concerts on bigger places have tolerable volume?).

One downside for me on the performance were my neighbors, UGH. The one exactly beside me seems to have a bought with cough and the one beside him cannot keep his karaoke-ing to himself at some of the songs. I mean, this is a classical music performance... just keep your voice to yourself. JEESH.
