Nice repetoire!

Very curious to know who sang which solo. I see some Ralph songs and I see some Stefan song. Especially curious who will do the solo on Eternal Light. Josh or Stefan?? I think it's Stefan songs. But considering the love for Josh. Maybe they will use it.

And Daniel with two solo's after eachother? Stay with me and then Veni Emmanuel.

Can't wait to read the reviews.

Cool! Sing the Story is on there - I guessed right about that one  (never mind the fact I cheated on some of the other guesses  ). Way to go Luke, good luck on your solo! I wonder who'll do the solo on Jubilate. Surprised that White Christmas isn't on there, since it's been reviewed as a highlight for Stefan. And no Coventry Carol either - maybe it would have driven the girls so wild that no one would be able to hear the song anymore  In fact, of all 18 songs there's only 7 carols on the Christmas concert of the year. And no Orinoco Flow?! Maybe in the encore? But Bayan Ko needs to be in the encore as well AND the surprise/mystery song...

I hope Eoghan still has his solo on Glory to Thee :)
And I second that "go, Daniel" that Lexi wrote with Stay With Me :)

dani wrote:Wow - no Libera , I find that odd personally as its there song .

And no Coventry carol but glory to thee is on there ??, again very surprised .

But the rest was pretty much expected and it looks pretty decent set list all in all .
Coventry Carol is done by three of the 28 boys. So I'm not THAT surprised they don't sing that song in a concert. Because there is no choir-part in that song.

I don't think any soloist as improved so much on one song. I came away from a concert in 2009 (celtic tour) thinking that Daniel needed a little work on 'Stay with Me' I went away from the Beverley concert last year thinking he couldn't have peformed it better and the solo was just about perfect. Maybe he had a little nerves in the early days, but he has completely conquered them now. So well done Daniel!

Yes there are a few suprise omissions. i.e. white christmas, coventry carol but I guess they just can't do a 4hr concert and include them all as much as we would like them to!

Apparently there's a late start to the concert? Maybe getting bums to seats so to speak. Not surprising with a sell-out.

You're welcome. :).

Orinoco Flow is indeed a popular song. But if you look at the song list. There are a certain kind of type song on the list. Orinoco flow isn't that type of song. If you know what I mean, my english is not good enough to explain exactly what I mean. ;).

But I agree with you. And with Jimmy, they have a limited time to do a concert, unfortunatly for us fans ;).

Late for school, but just want to add that it looks like a fantastic set list! Surprised they aren't singing Libera, though!! OR Orinoco Flow, for that matter! Can't wait to hear more :D

Late getting started cause doors didn't open til 7 pm. Perhaps Libera was still warming up. Josh's dad and Ralph's parents are at the concert. Stefan's parents will be at Cebu.

Thank you for linking to our blog, but I'll put up the song list for ease of reference. Bayan Ko or Orinoco Flow may be the encore.

1. Jubilate
2. Joy to the World
3. Still, Still, Still
4. Song of Life
5. Sanctus
6. Salva Me
7. Stay With Me (go, Daniel!)
8. Veni Emmanuel
9. Exultate

Interval

10. Carol of the Bells
11. Gloria in Excelsis
12. The Fountain
13. Eternal Light
14. Sing the Story
15. Ave Verum
16. In Dulci Jubilo
17. Glory to Thee
18. How Shall I Sing That Majesty

I'm glad you say that. Because I remember thinking in Dublin in 2009 that his a cappella opening of Stay With Me was a bit off and I attributed that to inexperience and nerves. By then I did not know all the names of all the boys as well as I do now, so I was not familiar with Daniel and as a result I could not recollect later on who this new soloist had been. In Epsom though, I knew who Daniel was and I was just smitten by his solo in Stay With Me and got to compliment him about that after the show. When I got back home in the Netherlands, I did a little search and found out that he was the one who had sung the solo in Dublin as well. So talk about growth :D

Is that a camera man on the right? Would they be filming for screens on stage or...?

Hannah said the Meet & Greet just finished. Only 150 people allowed to go through line! But Andy Winter let her be #151. Yay, Andy! :D

Still waiting for news on how concert was & soloists.
