Re: Japan Tour (October 29 - November 1, 2024)
The second Libera promotional video, featuring an interview, was broadcast in Japan overnight from the 26th to the 27th on MBS’s show 'よんタメ.'
I couldn’t find the video on TVer, but a fan has kindly shared it online:

There's no need to do multiple songs by him. If they do multiple songs by him but don't perform "Once" that would be downright criminal. What's the last time they performed "Song of Life"? They should do that one instead of "Always There" or "Far Away".
We got news about the concerts at yesterday's two events between libera and the fans. Without spoiling things too much, I can tell you will be both disappointed ans satisfied
Angel and once on the set list?
Sounds like from that video Veni S will be on the set list as well

Oooh the Libera demo is soooo clear, you will love it Yorkie

The set list for the Japanese concerts has been released - not sure if it will include an encore because there are 20 songs mentioned but I'll edit that in when we get it:
1) Twilight
2) Sanctus
3) Far Away
4) Stay With Me
5) Salva Me
6) Seabird
7) The Lark's Last Song
8.) Always There
9) Ave Maria (RP)
10) Voca Me
11) Music Was Born
12) Veni Sancte Spiritu
13) One Small Voice
14) Sacris Solemnis
15) Love Shine a Light
16) Once (Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence)
17) For the Future
18) Angel
19) Happy Xmas (War is Over)
20) I am the Day
Encore: Sing for our World
That would be a great set list for me, I wish I could be there

Thanks for sharing! It does look like a great setlist. Is that 5 new songs from Dreams in addition to the 3 sung at the summer concert?Yorkie wrote: ↑1 month ago The set list for the Japanese concerts has been released - not sure if it will include an encore because there are 20 songs mentioned but I'll edit that in when we get it:

And another busy night for Joseph assuming the soloists are the same as the summer concerts. The Prayer is out but Music was Born is in. I'm also guessing he's likely to do the descant for Stay With Me. Morgan's evening looks pretty busy too.
I wonder who will do Far Away and Stay with Me. I think the last soloist on each was Thomas M? But presumably he'll be doing Once. Maybe those who want him to get more solos will get their wish.

There must be an encore. The question is which.
I can see another song from the album, but the three most suitable for an encore, Happy Xmas, Veni Sancte and Once are already on the list.
So perhaps it will be Sing ?
I can't imagine it could be Smile.
I'm surprised to see I Am The Day put right at the end. To conclude a concert full of novelties, why to have and old song at that moment?
Re: Japan Tour (October 29 - November 1, 2024)
Sing would be my guess and also I prefer that to be the encore and (as I think I have said before) I would flip the order of Smile and Sing in UK concerts because I think Smile reflect the sadness that the show is over and then Sing would send us out on a high.fan_de_LoK wrote: ↑1 month agoThere must be an encore. I am the day is good for me wherever Sam decides to put it

It is a little strange but I am the Day is a great concert ender in my opinion.
Encore wise I agree that no other track from Dreams immediately suggests itself. I think Sing is most likely. Unless they go for Kizuna?

Only three Muramatsu songs? I thought they would dedicate one half of the concert to him! I see they were nice enough to include "Once" by that other Japanese composer whose name escapes me right now. I hope "Dream You Of" or "Resurrectio" find their way on to the setlist in the near future.Yorkie wrote: ↑1 month ago The set list for the Japanese concerts has been released - not sure if it will include an encore because there are 20 songs mentioned but I'll edit that in when we get it:

“Thank you to everyone who has come out in the rain of Shibuya to hear us sing for you. You make us feel very special. Domo arigato!”

Patrick has provided his usual rapid summation for the key parts of the first half:
Nathan on the piano for Far Away, there is no end to the talent of the boys in the group.

All credit to Patrick for the details.
A great concert and well worth the travelling with two still to go. Interesting how more and more of the younger ones are getting more prominent roles. Looks good for the future.
Just one thought. When Archie did his speech at Chester i wondered about his confidence levels at such a young age. Well after his bit tonight in two languages it was clearly no issue

Thank you very much to Patrick for the details and to Yorkie for sharing so promptly.
Sounds like an amazing concert with several new and inexperienced soloists which is always exciting. Huge congratulations to Jerome in particular doing his first solo in Japanese! Also Federico in Italian. And cool that they changed one of the languages to suit the soloist - German would make some sense considering Julian's surname.
Would love to know what boys and what languages were involved in the foreign language demo if anyone can remember.

Thank you Patrick, much appreciated.
Great variety of soloists. Would like Hal to have had more to do, and Caleb. But hopefully they’ll get their opportunities in the upcoming concerts.
Anyone know who the “Bigs” were as in tenors/baritones/basses? Or was it just Mitchel alone?
