at first i thought it was just funny, but the fact that they sounded great and pulled it off made me think again.
yay for the WSK!!!!
#Warning, controversial statement approaching. Readers of a nervous disposition should turn away now#
I hated it. It was awful and frankly most of what WSK does leaves me cold.
Now, excuse me while I pull the wings off some flies.
n.b. just to be clear not having a go at you katayfan - it would be a very dull world if we all liked the same thing. Actually, it would be like Bradford on a wet Tuesday. And trust me, you don't want to go to Bradford on any day of the week.
no, i quite understand Yorkie!!
i actually love people disagreeing and conversing in a relatively civil manner. it is even more fun when it is not in a relatively civil manner. i enjoy playing devil's advocate, and i love the spice and fire i have seen from you thus far on the board. reminds me of someone i like--myself.
we are well matched, indeed... (rubs hands together and plots utter naughtiness)

If I’ve got owt to say I says it, and if I’ve got owt to ask I asks it.
Hmmh, how to explain it....think of downtown Detroit, with all the beauty removed and replace the people with the worst kind of rude, ugly inbreeds you can find on the planet.
That would still rank above Bradford in terms of a tourist destination.

Anyhoo, I had found this one and I don't like the song that much but it's pretty funny. Even the soloist couldn't help smiling after delivering his lines and heaing the crowds reaction.

Imagine if Joshua Madine circa 2007 sang the dark-haired boy's part. How big will his smile be?

Libera in general doing this would be PRICELESS....I'm picturing josh as well(and as u said with a huge smile) and oddly enough i'm picturing Joe snelling as the other boy O.o....

I'd love to hear Libera's rendition of Bahay Kubo (Nipa Hut). It's a Filipino folk song, which really just talks about a nipa hut and all the vegetables planted around its yard.
This French choir did it well, but the pronunciation could be better.

It would be fun to see Libera attempt to sing this fast-paced Pilipino Christmas song. And watch Mr. Prizeman conduct them the way Prof. Armando Salarza.

In fact, it would be fun to see any non-Filipino choir attempt this song.
