The day after the concert I was whining at work how I wanted to go to go Cebu to watch the other concert there.

And wow, I didn't know they had a P10,000 ticket in Cebu. That's waaaaay over my budget. I hope the ticket prices are the same as the last time.
Yup in Cebu. hahahah We didn't get the chance to buy tickets for the Manila concert so we flew to Cebu. 10,000php was for sponsors. We only seated at 1500 (Letter L, so I guess that's 12th row, or 14th if the VIP seats are included, I think.) We could have seated in much neare if we didn't have to spend for the airfare. (Our airfare costs far more than the tickets, but we didnt regret.)
You were willing to pay P10,000?! I was thinking before the concert that it was okay for me to be seated somewhere in the middle since I just wanted to hear them perform.

Boy, was I wrong. I went to both M&Gs! My jaw dropped when they announced in the middle of the concert that they would have an autograph signing after the concert. I wasn't planning to line up but they sang "Bayan Ko"!

Now I want to buy one of the nearer seats! :)

Nope. Sorry to confuse you. We just bought the 2nd row for 1500php tickets. :) You could still see the boys in our area. :)

I haven't decided yet, I have to get consent from my parents, and make sure air tickets and hotel stays and concert ticket are within my budget of SGD 500. Is that even possible? Air tickets plus taxes (budget airline) is already about SGD 300 plus perhaps two nights of hotel stay, I'm hoping I could book it cheap at travel agencies or something. Which airline did you fly previously to Philippines?
Yeah...Right now, it's not looking very good. Not that it ever did in the first place. Most of my project presentations are set for that week. So unless they have it late in the week, I probably can't.

I'm not sure if 500SGD is going to be enough. I usually fly with Cebu Pacific. It doesn't have the most excellent service (cramped seats and very odd flight hours), but if you want to save on money, this should be good enough. Also, SIN-MLA is only around 4 hours. Right now, the cheapest round trip I can find there (April 12, April 14) is 363SGD (includes tax).

You can also try Tiger Airways. Right now, there's an April 12, April 14 that sells for 260SGD. The only thing is, it doesn't fly directly to Manila. It flies to Clark, which is around a 1.5hr drive to Manila. There's a bus from the airport that goes to a mall in Manila. From there, you can take a cab to your hotel. This would be the most affordable route, I think, since both these airline's prices will only get steeper as we near April. If you're wary about traveling alone, maybe one of the members here can offer to meet you in the Manila mall to accompany you to the hotel just so you don't get lost.haha. Most people speak English so you should be fine. But if you want to be extra safe, then I'd suggest that.

As for accommodation, I don't really have a ballpark figure. Whenever I'm in Manila, I'm either bunking with my sisters or I'm with my parents so they worry about the hotel bill.

Seriously you were in Row L? Haha... We were in Row L in Cebu as well, left side of the center aisle. I can clearly see them where we were seated. I, too, would have wanted the 2500 seats, but my friends who knew the setup of Waterfront Hotel Grand Ballroom from previous concerts assured me that we will be able to see them clearly in that row, and hear them clearly of course. :)

Yup, row L right at the center. Cool!

I had the same incident during the meet and greet, there was this fan who approached me and asked me about something then the next thing I knew is that we're already chatting (on another Libera site).

Or you can just google this: convert ___PHP to USD (e.g. convert 10000PHP to USD). It gives you the conversion right away.

Maybe you could move your visit in April? hehehe

I have a huge feeling that the concert will not be as grand as the one they held in PICC or Waterfront.

Anyhoo, a bit off topic, but any of you have idea on where they usually tour around June/July the past years?

Fan_De_Lok is probably the best for that - he was doing some research on all the concerts held by Libera over the years. I don't proclaim any great knowledge but in general I think they normally limit themselves to the British Isles at this time. I think I once read that the boys have a bit of a get away together as a group and then they might have the odd concert.

Could be wrong about that though.

I'm not from Manila myself, so I'm really not sure. But I think there are budget hotels there as well. Those sort of inns that are designed for backpackers who just want a room to sleep for the night, no-frills.

The lack of final details is killing me. As the days go near to April, my chances of being able to attend is getting slimmer.

Thanks! I have to ask Patrick then. :) I have a friend from Italy who would love to see Libera but June/July is the only time she could go near UK. Anyhoo, if what you read about getting away together then I think they really deserve it. :)
