I'm glad I had a chance to helping you, if only a little
Hagy one of my friend said to me that she'll post about this
on Libera Passion site.
then I posted here
We always read with interest the report of European site
and Lexi's Blog as well.
I should be the one thanking you all

Thanks for the updates, it's interesting to read the news released by EMI Japan. I'm looking forward to hearing Ralph's solo and Libera's interpretation of the theme tune for Madonna Verde. Must be the first time we have had the soloist confirmed in advance of listening to the song.

Barks have updated their Libera page with the news about mini album ...
Seems to suggest that a select group will go over to Japan to support/promote the theme tune for the upcoming series.
This is via google translator...
TV drama, according to the timing seems to promote Rivera is also planned in Japan. A total of six members from about 40 will tell me the voice of the Japanese emperor in the selection of seven members.
....but we may need our good friends in Japan to lay it out in it's correct phrasing for it to make complete sense to us lazy english speakers
Edit: Thanks
DearMadine for the translation!
Just realised I'm 1 post away from a 1,000. I'll have to make sure I've got something majorly interesting to justify this landmark. Deeper digging required.

Sorry, Yorkie. Can't keep up with a rambling Yorkshire man

Thanks for the link JimmyRiddle, I spent some time translating Japanese to English and it turned out:
"Around the show's premiere, Libera seems to be scheduling a promotional visit to Japan. Among about 40 members, the total of 6-7 selected members will perform their angelic voices in Japan."
Looks like a small group of Libera is going to Japan in early April. I translated the whole article in my blog if anyone is interested in reading the rest. But the quoted part was the core of this article.

That makes sense. And you can bet it will be Boys like Ralph, Stefan, Freddie, James , Daniel and will be a lot different then when the last small batch of boys went over to promote for you were there.

The last promo tour was in late january 2009.
They were 8 : Zak, Mickael V., Ed., Tom, Ben, Sam, Liam, Josh.
the first 4 are gone.
Is the last 4 will all be present? Not sure at all....
Time is running so fast

This is my best attempt to translate RP's blurb on Japanese EMI site.
It's a great honor for us to sing a new song for NHK's new Tv show. "Song of Life" is an impressive song by Takatsugu Muramatsu. We are glad to work with him. Libera members also enjoyed recording. Ralph, the main soloist, happily said that "it was a fantastic experience." Mini James who partook in the chorus stated that "it was difficult in the beginning because the song covers from very low to very high part, it got really fun after I got used to it."
yeap.

Maybe the select group of boys will be going over to promote this, and then meeting up with the others somewhere for the spring tour. It could possibly even be the US or Canada, but it would almost be more logical to fly the rest of the crew up to Japan/other parts of Asia. Guess we'll have to wait and see! I check the offical site, plus Libera Dreams every day at school, using my phone, to see if the next tour has been announced
I hope we get to hear this track in Epsom!

Thats why i said if he was too take 8 boys he would use Daniel and not Josh or Sam as they are too old now to really be part of the 8 boys you would need. Daniel is old enough to be able to give the young boys confidence. And still be able to sing treble.
But of course will be proven totally wrong :p

I think you're right though, Dani; Josh, Liam, and the rest of the older boys might still be singing in concerts, but their roles as spokespersons seem to be over. I bet the group will be something like Daniel, Jakob, Ralph, Stefan, James, Cassius, Carlos, and Matthew (or maybe Ben and Freddie will be in there somewhere). Just a guess, but those ones are coming into the forefront more often.
I would guess Stefan, Ralph, Kavana, Mini-James, Cassius, Jakob, Freddie and Josh at this point, based on who was on the BBC Breakfast show at Christmas + Cassius!

Hi, Maartendas! That's the track that Hagy helped us determine is not the same song. The names translate the same in English, but mean different things in Japanese. The song coming out April 12 is a new song.

Will it be the same basic melody with RP and his crew working his magic on it?
