There's two Royal Navy ships heading towards Northern France too. UK airspace is opening up at 10pm tonight, but there's no guarantee they would have got quick flights back if they had stayed in Greece. Besides they didn't know that on Friday, so they had to make some effort to try and get back to the UK.

Glad they are taking it safe and easy and keeping us updated on their progress.

P.S. with regards to that backstage video posted, the guy seemed to have some authority clearance around his neck, but it didn't seem legit to me. Nobody's going to say 'oh yeah' you go ahead and snoop around our dressing room, while we're not there.

I would think even if the airspace reopen now, with the huge backlog they wouldn't be able to fly back any time soon, so it is rather wise for them to take the coach.

Good to know that they are making steady progress, it's gonna be an unforgettable experience for all of them

At least they're getting to see Europe.

Aren't they due back at school though? Weren't some of them scheduled for major exams? Would they be allowed a make-up for "O" levels or "A" levels?

In a bus on a motoway? I doubt that. But maybe they can stop by some of the cities along the way to make it a educational tour or something.

As for the exams, I am sure there will be some kind of arrangement done for this sort of situation, flight ban at this scale might affect some other kids from UK as well.

I hope also they come to Paris to have lunch and to visit the Eiffel Tower and make a little concert while being there !

But unlikely, referring to Google maps's suggestion for a journey Italy east coast-London, they will cross France by east and north and they will avoid Paris.

I hope they will come back soon in better circonstances !

Not really sure how it got started... by the time I got in front of him he was already meowing and that was 4:30 in the afternoon...
