His attention had been brought to the fact that people on this forum were "discussing" the video and, almost without question, assuming that what Chukkoi was claiming to be the truth to be accurate. The postings on the topic also had the effect of making the offending video and comments seen by many more people than if nobody here had mentioned it. Chukkoi must be delighted that his video [ and unsubstantiated] comments was seen by so many people after being directed to it by people on this forum.
The fact that you don't believe it is Mr Winter is really rather typical of some of the posters on this forum. One reason why I rarely bother posting here.
At least people on the French forum and Yahoo Angel Voices group never mentioned it. Whether that is down to the members or the moderators, I don't know.
Anyway, I guess Andy Winter felt he felt he had to put the record straight. And still you don't believe it! Not a good reputation for a forum, IMO.

i think people's views on this can be understood either way. in my own personal experience with lots of message boards, there are many people who create false identities just to mess with people on the board. i am not saying this is what is happening here, but i think skepticism is entirely normal when you are dealing with a place where anonymity is guaranteed.

He might have had a backstage pass around his neck, he probably managed to swindle that from his two sidekicks in the video, who appeared to work there. He certainly wouldn't have had permission to snoop around their empty dressing room. Just for the record, I actually said "This is not a video shoot" Apart from that I stand by my action in asking this person not to record an individual message from each of the boys, according to his script.

Analyzing how Andy made his statement (if it was indeed him), he is too proud to resolve this.

You even took pics of me discreetly before that happened, which obviously wasnt a normal shot youd do to take photos of a crowd. For what?
Youre trying to justify your actions with such inaccuracy, claiming you are asking me not to record individual messages from each of the boys, according to my script, when:
1) You never asked me. You shooed me off with your foul words.
2) I didnt have EACH of the boys read my greetings, watch the vid again.
3) What script? It was merely a small note containing 3-4 names!
If you claim this is not a video shoot, then how come other fans had the chance of recording vids as they passed thru the line? How come at one vid Cassius could meow like a cat as per request by a fan? How could a small note containing a greeting of 3-4 peoples names (who couldnt attend the concert) be of any threat?
Your have a strong conviction over a lame excuse, Andy.
Ive been to last years M&G and concert and did videos that helped raise awareness on Libera. Have you found me or my contribution to Libera as threat or nuisance?

If you looked closely to Mr. Winters post you would see that he had thanked us for being on his side and not believing a word of this Chukkoi character. I'm quite offended by your statement for the simple fact that at least on this forum we are friendly and get along 98% of the time, unlike what I have seen on Angel Voices where most members seem to be at each others throats IMO. I cannot comment on the french forum for I do not go there often because I do not understand french and translations can be very crude.
I do agree that his video did get unwanted attention here but hey everyone reacts in a different nature. On this board I feel that we are more emotionally tuned to Libera as a whole(staff included of course) so I believe our reaction was only natural. That was a lose-lise situation unfortunately. But overall IMO this is one of the better forums in general and for Libera that is out there.

Members of this forum have had some misunderstandings in the past but we've managed to resolve it and we didn't make it into such a big deal. Please remember, you are NOT the only person in line. The organizers specifically asked the fans to have only their CDs and posters signed for a reason: so that they can accomodate everyone in line. The boys cannot sit in their seats forever. If everyone followed suit, the line would move at a snail's pace.
Using the term "each boy" (instead of naming any individual member of the group) seems to be used for discretion because anybody who was there cannot deny the fact that there were lots of girls all screaming for just one or two boys. You have to admit. In the M&G in RCBC, the crowd was thickest near the end of the line... and who sat in those seats?
And a script is a script no matter how short.

I was referring mainly to those posters who thought that Chukkoi's claims of the words he heard were true without even questionning them.
If you think about it for just a moment, you could tell it was a wrong interpretation. A person would say "Don't do this sh*t " or "Don't do these sh*ts", but not mixing up singular and plural as in "Don't do those sh*t" as Chukkoi claimed and your posts showed many of you took Chukkoi at his word.
Posts made on that topic do not seem very supportive of Andy or Libera.

I apologize to everyone for my reaction, I was just simply offended that any comparison between forums was made at all which had brought on my offensive. Again I apologize and nothing else will be said on my end.

For the record, I find this board to be more attuned to the diversity of Libera fandom. Yes, that Cassius the cat video makes you just smile, doesn't it. The uploader has another, longer video that includes other Libera members, but unfortunately she hasn't made it public. I really loved her longer video because it shows how young Filipino fans connected with Libera members through the point of view of the uploader, who is a young Filipino Libera fan. It would have been nice if she made it public, but I respect her decision to keep it private and share it only to a few Youtube users whom she knew are Libera fans as well.
