Well, I assume the event organisers will have taken steps to ensure that somebody with my looks gets a prime front and centre seat. The ladies need something to look at after all.

Sure, you could make a decent seating map (as we have learnt they aren't permanent anaway..) and pass that to the event organisers

I think it will be worth going to just sing Jerusalem, as its in my top 10 hymns
Guide Me O Thou Great Redeemer, I have sung at St P's
Not familiar with Angel-Voices Ever Singing
Shame 'Be still for the presence of the lord' is not on the list

Ticket arrived today so can confirm that the number relates to a block, then a row and then a seat.

Wow !
Based on that old obsolete and unrepresentative and just-for-example seat maps, being in block E, row A, would guaranty you an optimal seat !!
For me instead, being on block D, row L, I will be at least 12 rows away from the stage

My tickets say "Block D1 Row G Seat 17". OK, maybe I'm stupid (please don't comment on that!), but I can't figure it out. It's a bizarre seating plan!

Well the fact that you have a number after the first letter (mine doesn't) seems to suggest that the lay out will be different from the old plan that FDL found for a different concert. Basically, we don't really know how it will be set up so what seems bad might be good and what seems good might be bad..........

The plan above was for a Darts competition. Seems unlikely that SOP would be similar. I found a more conventionial plan at http://www.londonanandautsav2011.com/seating_plan.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; but there are only three zones: A,B, and C plus a VIP zone.
I'm at D3F22.

Well that plan FDL had makes sense for darts - the audience sit at tables so those long, thin blocks will be long bench tables (you need somewhere to put your pint and plate of chips when watching darts).
So, with a more conventional layout my block E seat will be further back than any seat in block D. Oh well, at least I have a good seat at the theatre on Saturday night

Amazon now has the commemoration album for sale: " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Libera is featured with two songs: Be Still My Soul and Lead Kindly Light. A bit meagre, considering there's 44 tracks on there and they are SoP's nr. 1 artist. But the album is really all about traditional hymns and as we know, Libera are about more than just that
There's also this YT ad to go with it:

Less than two weeks remaining before the SoP event.
Libera have not yet confirmed on the official site their presence at the event, and the name of Libera is no more said on the few sites talking about this event.
Libera's presence is said only on the BBC press release posted on 1st of August.
I hope to be wrong, but I'm really starting to think that Libera may have declined their participation, otherwise they should had already announced it on the official site, don't you think ?

I'd find it difficult to believe that Libera would turn down a SOP appearence, after all Mr. Prizeman is or was on their staff.

I'm with Tully - I think they will be there but not necessarily performing on their own (maybe backing Aled or some of the other headline acts). With RP on the staff, the act with the most appearances and it being so close to home it doesn't make sense that they wouldn't have some role to play.
Still, if the worst comes to the worst, at least you will have the privilege of meeting up with me. Surely that has to be worth a trip over from Paris, non?

Not necessarily. They don't always post everything they do on their official website...
