Yeah, same here. The Climb is a good song. The very sad thing is that she really can't act but Disney seems to think that in order to be successful singers have to have their own TV show as well....

Well, the "Miley Cyrus" thought shrugged me. It's not that I don't like her but I feel a bit bad for her. And as much as I want Libera's popularity to be at its peak, I don't want the boys to be followed by paparazzi all the time.

What I meant to say is that they are getting more and more famous, not becoming the male counterpart of the singer.

. Yea they are going to get even more popular once people realize that Libera is not who they think they are. It's taking just about 25 years, but they're getting the hang of it! These boys are in for an even more wild ride!

About Ben's mom. My friend doesn't know but he is going to find out. He "thinks" she is a British citizen but he is not sure. All he is sure of right now is that Ben's dad in an American citizen and he has made sure all of his children were born here so they would be American's by birth.
About being German, well the Phillips family could be of German decent but they are not German citizens anymore than I am a Scottish citizen. I am of Scottish decent and am very proud of being that but I am an American by birth.

After all, Rudyard Kipling was most definitely British as was Tolkien.

And Philipp is an English surname so not sure where the German heritage would come in if at all - so you see, quite English

I strongly suspect his mum is British - although many Americans come to work in London for a time, it's pretty unusual to stay unless it involves matters of the heart

The boy's name is Benedict - in Latin "Benedictus" or "blessed". From my POV it is we the listeners that are blessed coz the music has been brilliant.

Yeah, well, my middle name is English... but most unfortunately, that doesn't make me English. Perhaps it has something to do with my parents having picked it out of the baby name book...

but I have to point out the difference between a given name and a surname that you inherit (generally) from you father. Now of course people can change their surname but not often. So you can call your child Moon Rocket Chardonnay but the surname would be Philipp - and that is a marker

#edit# OOOPPSS - just realised you meant that your middle name is 'English' not that you have an English middle name! Good job nobody is taking this seriously
