Hi Jake

Unfortunately, Libera doesn't allow filming or recording of their concerts so that won't be possible I'm afraid. Hopefully, people will write a review of the concert and that will help you to live the concert through their eyes and ears.

The set list is revealed. Three new songs (I've named the music it is based on, the song name may be different):
► Show Spoiler
One song never performed live before :D

Well, I"m guessing "Twighlight" is the song never performed live before. Sea bird"" " is the one I alluded to regarding choristers' parents. I would love to hear a vocal arrangement of the Patheteque "" ". I'm assuming it's of the "adagio cantabile" movement of that sonata. As for the Liszt, it might be good, but there is a schmaltz factor with that one.

Have these been posted yet?

Lots of newbies, and looks like a fair few have left too.

Not seeing Daniel in any of these images and he would kind of stick out a bit in terms of height now that the Bigs from last year have gone.

Also, I think Laurence D may have returned and is stood next to Freddie M in one of the images.

Not certain until we get some more images, though. Hopefully someone will post a program so we can see the line ups.

I was somewhat concerned by this, fearing a song by committee. But new info from the concert says it's written by just two parents from what is arguably the most musical family in the choir. That's a relief.

Patrick has updated his spreadsheet for the first half of the concert on X, but I'm hesitant to overshare his stuff here since he may want to do it differently later.

Is this "Twilight" the same version as what is on the Free album? Or a different song? Frustratingly we've had new songs introduced under the same or similar name as an old song before, so I feel like I never know what's going on.

Yes. Free was released on September 27, 2004 so the 20th anniversary is coming up.

Yes, I'm well aware. "Free" was the first album I ever purchased of Libera back in 2004 when it was released. I just wanted confirmation from those who attended that it was in fact the same song. Looks like it was indeed the same one.

Oh, and happy 20th anniversary of being a Libera fan to me I guess

The song was almost certainly 'One Small Voice' - don't trust AI.
