I'm fairly certain that no American base outside the United States would truly be considered American territory. Exceptions would be the Canal Zone before that area was given back to Panama and certain Pacific islands that the US occupies. Puerto Rico is US territory.
The real test would be if non-citizens gave birth on such bases would their children be automatically granted US citizenship.

I just talked some with my source about Mini Ben. His father has made sure that the family was in the US for the birth of all his children since he wanted them to be citizens of the country of his birth. So all of the Phillip kids are Americans.
so ben is not an only child? haha it would be interesting to see a mini-mini-ben type join the group!
haha i am afraid that wont happen, i once spoke to mini Ben's uncle ( bens father brother) and im sure mini Bens brother is actually older, so if Ben is already 13 then there is no chance.

I must admit that from the outside looking in and hearing a number of the boys speak at concerts and on the DVD that one gets the impression that they are from the upper classes. That's just the impression I get. I have never been to that part of London but am surprised to hear it described as a crap hole !!
My own two cents worth here. You can't always tell what class a person may be in from how they talk. I am well spoken, use proper English grammer and have some knowledge of music and books but I am also poor. I make less than $15,000 a year. I grew up dirt poor. I currently drive a 20 year old Chevy and wear clothes from the Salvation Army store. But, I read alot, listen to alot of good music. Just because I am poor doesn't mean I have to talk and act like a hick or a hoodie.
I think one of the good thing for the poorer and the more afluant boys in Libera is that they all get to be just the same.
Jude, it is really good to see you back again and posting. Welcome home.
Knew I forgot to reply to somebody!
I agree 100% that you can't judge a person by their accent and I'm one of those people that doesn't judge a person by the amount of money they have either (probably 'coz I aint got none!). But here in England we have regional accents and we have class accents and all the lads in Libera I've heard speak tend to speak with one kind of accent.
Of course anybody can learn to speak in any kind of accent so it doesn't really say that much I suppose. By the way I looked up Trans-Siberian Orchestra on YouTube

The Libera boys have been trained to speak well on camera though haven't they. I'm sure when they are messing around with their mates, that their language quickly goes urban/street style again.

Did you like what you saw? I hope so. Though I do have to tell you, they do not tour outside of the US. At least not yet. They cram alot of shows into the few weeks they do tour, from early October to mid January. And they actually split the band in two, one half on east of the Mississippi River and one half west.
They get alot of different guest singers for some shows. A few years ago, Roger Daltry did a set of Who classics with them.

I saw Trans-Siberian orchestra live a couple of years back! It was a very, very loud concert (I'm not accustomed to that level of noise!

) but enjoyable all the same. I absolutely love the Christmas Cannon!

I saw TSO last year in my hometown, and boy was it an amazing show. The music is fantastic!! But the lightshow and pyrotechnics really make the show the second best group I've seen live. Of course Libera is the first

I, finally, have some information on Zack and some others who are now confirmed as former members of Libera. Oliver Cole, Tom Cole, Michael V., and Zack Lockett are officially listed as former members.
Needless to say, there is no official reason given. Actually nothing at all out of Libera management, which seems to be sop(standard operating procedure).
While it is sad they have left the choir, I wish them well in all of their future endevours.
