Just a little update: 480 out of 3,022 seats left for Korea Concert :D
That's about 83% of the venue. FYI, most of the vacant seats are on 3rd floor, where tickets are about $30USD. 1st & 2nd floors are near sold out. Tickets for first two floors are about $80USD and $50USD.

Does anyone know how Japan is doing? and the Philippines?

Japan :
- Not so good for the first concert on 8/04 : 76.7% sold.
The online sales on http://eplus.jp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; are now closed for this date.
- quite good for the second concert on 9/04 : 91.1% sold :)
(values taken this night, see here on the french forum)
4 days remains.

Philippines : (based on libera360 tickets charts, matinee, evening)
- very bad for the matinee :( Only 16.2% sold or reserved !
- not good for the evening show : 48.5% sold.
11 days remains.

Thanks for the info!!

April 8th is Thursday, so I guess that's understandable... at least their second show in Japan is near sold out. I'm kinda shocked to see how many tickets are left for the Philippines... I thought they will be sold out in like two days  well... they still have some time till concert... I hope the sales goes up!

They are getting a little promotion via MYX at present, but does anyone know if words got out in other ways about Libera's concerts in Manila?

Also as tickets are only sold on cash only, maybe people will wait until the actual night to turn up and get tickets. Hope that doesn't prove dissapointing for them.

That must make the Korea concert their largest ever audience for a Libera only concert?

@JimmyRiddle,

I don't know about PICC, but Pacific Grand Ballroom of Waterfront Hotel in Cebu holds 4,000 seats for a concert setup (3200 ballroom/level 1 + 800 gallery/level 2). So in this aspect alone, the Cebu concert last year had a bigger audience than the current Seoul concert. As far as I can remember when I attended the concert last Oct. 28, 2009, the gate is only selling the lowest priced ticket/unreserved seating at 800 pesos (~US$18 ). The very back of level 1 were 800-peso seats, so it's possible that not all 3200 level 1 seats were sold before the event itself, but from what I could tell (have no superpower to count just by looking :-)) level 1 was pretty much filled when the concert started and I saw a lot of people in level 2, probably almost or nearly sold out. And check this out, just like the upcoming concerts in Makati, tickets for last year's concert in Cebu were also not sold online! :) Tickets were sold at the Arts Council Office, SM Customer Service, and St. Theresa's College. And not much mainstream media/TV coverage so whether it was sold out or only nearly sold out, the turnout is pretty amazing. I, for one, only saw quarter-page ads in SunStar Cebu Newspaper.

With regard to the April 16 events, still has 11 days to go not 7. But yeah, a little concern there. But to put things in context the concert was announced as planned only 2 weeks ago and tickets started selling only last week. There are still 2 weeks left though. The Matinee show on a Friday is a real challenge because most fans will still be at work during that time. And with the short notice, not a lot of people can negotiate a paid leave for it. The Gala show on a Friday, in my mind, will have no problem of selling out in the next 11 days before the event.

Interesting Phlibera, thanks.

So it must have been down to the power of the internet, and social networking sites (i.e. facebook, twitter etc...) that led to the impressive turnout in Cebu.

Now I know why there's lot of fans in Cebu pleading with Libera to return lol

So we'll agree that Cebu has the privilege of providing Libera's largest concert audience so far. Just because I like my stats!

A fan asked Clubbalcony (Korean Libera concert ticketing site) about the staff list and this was their answer:

BARBARA GERAGHTY
ELEANOR LEWIS
SAMUEL COATES
STEVEN GERAGHTY
BENJAMIN CRAWLEY
ANDREW WINTER
CALLUM PAYNE
BENJAMIN RENTOUL
BENJAMIN PHILLIPS
PAUL MOSS

Idk why the list doesn't include RP, Ian and Fiona :(

Fiona has a gig on the 9th together with Ian as her pianist. As for RP, I don't have an idea!

:?: Its kind of strange that RP's not on there, but if he is listed as director than he might not come under the category of "Staff".

I wonder what happened to Steven Geraghty's assistant Tom Cully? :-) Steven can't go around touring without an assistant!

School, maybe? But it's quite nice to see that Callum's still helping out with the group.

I have said this loads but clearly it needs to be said again

Tom was never going to tour as its his GCSE year. He is not going to ruin his future to go on a tour where he is no longer needed or sings treble. People need to start being a lot more realistic about Tom.

I think Callum is 2 years older than Tom. He's 1992 I think. Cos I always remembered Callum being a year older than Michael H., and Michael being a year older than Tom.
