The French forum reports that Libera will be on Songs of Praise on January 16th! The BBC One web site says the show will feature the town of Arundel.

"Sally Magnusson discovers the historical secrets of the Sussex market town, and introduces hymns from the Roman Catholic Cathedral and a sparkling performance from Libera." :D

Wonder if this will be the Eternal Light video filmed outside or something else possibly filmed inside the cathedral.

Hope someone records it! :D

I said they had done two videos for SOP way back when they did Bristol.

Eternal Light was filmed in Manchester and as far as the other person could remember it was O-Sanctissima for the Arundal performance.

Shame that. It wouldn't be my choice from that album. A sincere thank you to Ben for his great contribution to the group perhaps?
If I’ve got owt to say I says it, and if I’ve got owt to ask I asks it.

Im not sure because Ralph does it in the concert now i thought but i guess as they will mime it it will be the Ben recording from the album. As Ralph miming to Bens version would be odd.

Yeah, I was thinking the same dani - Ben miming like Josh's version of Lullaby(e).

So, Tom gets a 'You Were there' send of, Josh gets ' Lullaby(e)' & Ben bows out with 'O Sanctissima'. Nothing for Ed. Hmmh, I would love to be a fly on the wall (but I'm 3/4 of the way through a bottle of port so probably making connections that don't actually exist. Still, my Christmas box set of cracker is going down a treat).

It seems he left rather suddenly so that may be why he didnt get a send off song. Even tho it is odd that Peace was recorded Winter 09 so his voice had deffo not changed by then so who knows.

Yep, Cassius is in front of James and Kavana. The boy directly behind Freddie is one of the newest members, Dylan Duffy and then behind Dylan is Matthew Jansen.

I know, wouldn't it be great to have inside knowledge of all the goings on?

Anyway, if we are right and Ben is front and centre then it is very nice for him and his mum & dad who have been great supporters of Libera for many years. Personally I'd have had young Benedict doing The Lamb which is my favourite song of his, although Lacrymosa is probably his best known song.

Clearly Time is his best song.

Unquestionably I am. But I see that as more Josh's or at best a shared effort - the 'tribute' songs have all had one main soloist, which is why I believe that it will be Ben doing O Sanc.

Probably end up with my foot in my mouth come Sunday though :D

Oooh fair enough you want just a ben song. Then its Exsulate as he pretty much sings all the solo parts for it.

Dislike the Lamb and dont like Lacyromosa.
